I personally really like the Superheavy arc, it was cool seeing Gordon get more of the spotlight and it's a person who we wouldn't expect to see as Batman, Mr. Bloom is also an awesome villain.
Yeah I definitely like Gordon as a character, it was just odd seeing him don the cowl like that. But maybe you’re right - maybe the point was that it was an unexpected choice and so we get a new perspective on Batman that way. Totally agree about Mr. Bloom though, wish we got even more of him!

Hey man. I've this entire run in trades and I've only read through it the once but I found the second half way weaker than the first half. That said when I re-read this series down the line my opinion could very well change.
I ADORE this run. Scott just has a good grasp on Batman's character. Also,I enjoyed Superheavy. It's pretty fun
It’s a great run overall! I may not have enjoyed Superheavy very much, but I can totally see myself rereading this material in the future
