I just replaced a failed motor on my popper and now have excellent bean rotation with 90g of beans at the start of the roast.
My wattage is 25 watts off from the reading on the chart at the dial settings from 12:30 to 2:00. I can not get 950 watts the popper jumps from 915 watts to 1075 watts. The only way I can achieve better temperature control is by introducing an "Electronic Fan Speed Controller Variable Adjuster" with the popper set at 3:00 and the controller on variable using the high range on the dial. With this arrangement I can achieve a variable range at 953 to 1103 watts. Is using the "Electronic Fan Speed Controller Variable Adjuster" an acceptable addition to the popper for wattage and temperature control? Would the "Electronic Fan Speed Controller Variable Adjuster" hurt the longevity of the pooper?

Thanks for making this! I bought The Popper almost a year ago now and it has been fun learning how to use it

Is there a way to know what the temperature in the chamber is based off the watt meter?

You can estimate but it's best to use a thermometer since there are a lot of variable at play that affect the temperature.

What air setting do you have it on

Figuring out city city+ etc has always been difficult. The colors are too close together.
Are you using the “weight loss” method to determine that you’re getting city every time?
Or do you know an app that uses your camera to find the exact bean color?

To be honest, a lot of it is through experience but using a color chart made for coffee roasting really helps. ua-cam.com/video/WmlWeRC5xPs/v-deo.html

Good day, it’s difficult for me to purchase something like this for home coffee roasting in Russia (except from Asia). But, you can notice something in terms of improving the design of this model of yours, if you make air leaks through the chaf collection, that is, make holes (holes or slits) in the upper part of the Popper where the collection (made of dark color) is adjacent to the body and in the collection. In this way, air and then hot air will be recovered through the device and back into the fryer, and the internal elements (wires and control boards) should be somehow shielded from heat and from particles of parchment (chaf). But you must admit, there are undoubtedly advantages to such a change, air recovery, vacuum cleaner, reduction in electricity consumption and heat loss during frying.

They should make a 220v version...
