Having been in both the Hollywood system - which includes music - and the indie end of things for over 25 years - and now working into the comic/entertainment UA-cam scene and community - I can tell you, Ethan is the closest to having his head wrapped around reality. I had to actually experience this side of things myself over the last three years to conclude what Ethan has concluded. However, right now is the best time for certain things for small, independent creators since the 70s. No, Eric and Rippaverse are not going to be some kind of savior, nor will Daily Wire etc. These are fringe activities against a multi-trillion dollar entertainment industry, that is a machine that doesn't sleep and more importantly has been a survivor for 150 years. So... create. Give it your best. Hope for the best. And make your own destiny. The creative life is a bitch. Sometimes she's good to you and sometimes she'll mercilessly beat you right down to your soul and then stomp your soul. Be prepared for that and go forward.

In both videos where Razorfist posited the idea of an Iron Age, Ethan and ComicsGate were mentioned as being part of a larger proposed movement. July and his rippatards moved goalpost by trying to create a ComicsGate vs Iron Age conflict. As always, ComicsGate becomes the boogieman when something else is failing.

Ya know, I was a big fan of Ethan's art and his UA-cam channel, but everything coming out of his corner these days is just bitterness and envy. He does nightly streams where he counts another man's money while his own projects languish in various stages of completion and his audience contracts. It's very ironic to hear him scream about people living in little bubbles. That's what ComicsGate has become, a bubble. A little isolated community in decline lorded over by one very lazy "artist" who would rather throw stones as a tired Internet Bloodsports throwback than create art. If this is looked back on as the start of a new age in comics, ComicsGate will not - contrary to what Ethan's hilariously bruised ego drives him to assert and what Razorfist rather charitably asserted - will not be a part of it. At least not as anything more than a cautionary tale. Enjoy your piss pornography and diddler jokes, ComicsGate, that's how you save comics from leftists after all.
