love the "favorable" rank for decks. Yess, more of that please

Your gardevoir breakdown is in line with what I feel is best. I need to test luxury cape a bit more because I have been finding a lot of success with lux cape on screamtail for late game wins in the pre twilight era
I think the reason most people, myself included, are opting for non-EX sandy shocks on raging bolt is to have a 1 prizer that can help the lugia matchup that one-shots the rats without needing as much energy and not being activated until after being 2 prizes down whilst also having a second Sada target if you can’t find a second bolt
Baby shocks has so much utility I think it’s a staple!
Also against blocklax it’s pretty good
cannot believe people are mentioning my boy drago now! after playing it for -almost a year- i had my FIRST mirror match yesterday and i was so happy to see someone else playing it
Gotta say loving the very deep analysis, tha fact that you don0t just hype the Pult boy like everyone else but actally giving numbers ir eally nie!. As for the gardy, I kinda find it weird that you didnt consider that fpor the sapporo second place list there were some Iridas there, ´cause the idea is to get gerninja fast, it is actually a very viable option. Also saw a weird list the other day where the mixed the evolution discs with Aroma, kinda interesting but also seemsunnecesary, and as for the stamp. To me is almost useless as most of the powerful decks have lots of draw or search, unlesss used very early against a no set up opponent wich destrys them. it is pretty easy to get out of a stamp.
ive had a lot of luck playing roaring moon dunsparce, but im also pretty low on the ladder. idk if id recommend it for NAIC since its not great into origine dialga
Hey Joe! Love the video and your takes on lists other than copy pasting whatever did well recently. Ive been testing miriadon with the bloodmoon without vit band and it sort of serves the same purpose (but requires a 2nd switch cart) also been looking into iono and exp share but it feels like i need 65 cards! also not a huge fan of the tatsugiri because it requires a board and that in play, feels hard to set up frequently and also attack
I guess Lugia's bricking problems keep it balanced. Those first few turns can be rough though
Love these videos! Keep up the good work!
Do you know any new techs in Giratina or how it can best adapt to TWM?
Definitely like blood moon ursaluna in the deck and I’d probably look to have temple of Sinnoh for Lugia!
What about Chien-Pao Ex? I'm very new to the game and bought it to a friend pf mine, I don't know if it can be relevant against those deck... May you help me with the placement of this deck in the meta?
What are your thoughts on Luxray ex ?
I still dont know if you're supposed to go first or second with Gardy, seems like second feels better to me
Yup I’d pick 2nd with it into most matchups
Depends on whether you are playing the control pokemon like Mimikyu/Flutter/Klefki. If you are, I blind first. If you are not, then I blind second
@WillieRayPR I'll probably just play fluttermane. I'm in the process of building IRL for locals, the list in this video is pretty close to what I was looking to run. I could see Lugia not being as popular at my locals, and a few staying on Charizard tbh. One fellow is building Greninja Froslass, and we have a dedicated Future box player. Greninja Froslass sounds scary for Gardy, can Cresselia help out enough, and Munki of course?
Raging bolt ex is really good deck and zard/dragapult ex is really good too
Any thoughts on regidrago deck
The only decks I would consider for NAIC are Lugia, Snorlax or Gardevoir. Lugia is the easiest the best single prize deck if it sets up and beats Snorlax, but Snorlax beats everything else. My concern with Lugia has always been bricking because if you don't draw perfectly opening, you never recover. Gardy is a nice middle of the road deck that has a great engine, great single prize attackers, and hits the numbers you need.
Bibarel in your sable zard is sus... Especially with only 2 switches.... Banettes are superior.. You can use them as safety net against stamp/iono and they also help you to get to 10 in LZ way quicker
How does Great Tusk deal with Cinccino??
With defiance band you can OHKO them with luminous thanks to weakness, it’s a paper thin strategy but the idea is if you can run them low enough on energy that a heroes cape loop can see you over the line it’s worth it
I've also seen a lot of people trashing Dragapult/Xatu, but I do think it is the best way to play Pult right now. I'm running your 60 -1 Drakloak +1 Rare Candy, and I've felt that it is not only the most consistent build but also very versatile. One day the people will see the light 😉
We gotta wait for the NAIC to get a better grasp of the new format. So far I've been sticking with the Lost Zone list, it's consistent and allows for some very powerful combos with the Pult
preach!!!
Dragapult will not win NAIC, Gardevoir and Lugia are on a whole different power level
@@jacksnell8875 for sure, if I were to put money on it I would say either Garde or Lugia will come out on top. I'm not even expecting to see a Dragapult in the top 8 tbh 😅
Is it me or chien pao have follen down drastically since the arrival of twilight masquerade ?
What happened to Cpao?
it doesn't get any new cards in this set and is powercrept by other decks in the format
Is the 8th best deck
Best of luck to Joe in his travel o7
I think waterpon in Lugia is pretty much only relevant against gardy which, funny enough, is one of its worst matchups, regardless it's a tradeoff in consistency which I think maybe a third of the more gutsy Lugia players will take
it's good against dragapult decks, as long as they dont put manaphy on the bench
Gardie isnt favoured into Lugia. Its actually horrible if the Lugia gets set up turn 2.
No Arceus VStar deck? I thought ArcTina was at least decent.
you thought wrong
No respect for Blissey or my man Gouging Fire 😢
Going off the data for this vid!
Don't play 60hp pidgey. 🤦
I mean Daichi did just t32 Japanese nationals with them 😅😅 wanted to present the idea because it sounded interesting to have “soft techs” without committing deck slots to a matchup
@OmniPoke fair point. Great video Joe!
