Just discovered this, our trips very similar to yours too from Travelcity to OKW. On our first trip a cast member let our 6 and 4 year old hold the rope on Main Street ready for the parade. So many memories 😊. Disney's an addiction you can't give up!
Oh my god! Our first trip with our kids, was actually our honeymoon ( October 2015 ) our eldest son was 15, and youngest was 5. We also stayed at Doubletree by Hilton at Seaworld! The village inn was cheap and cheerful, and was always good before or after a long day at the parks, the staff were amazing with the kids. 2019, being a bit more flush, we stayed at Coronado Springs, that's also where we're staying in September. All happy memories. It's great on a budget, but amazing when you're not worrying as much about money. Really enjoyed hearing your memories, it would be great also to hear from Luke and Daisy from their perspective.
Cheers Aaron. Yeah it was lovely to talk about past trips. Love the idea about getting to hear Luke and Daisy’s perspective on it too. Have an awesome day mate
@@CheersEars you too! And we loved seeing that emotion on your December trip! That’ll be me when I see the falcon in September, or Harry Potter world, or festival of the lion king! I think I’ll be wearing my shades a lot, I’ll be an emotional wreck!😂
Such a wonderful trip down memory lane. Brought back so many memories. We also always loved the Obsorne light show. Were you there as the lights came on? Thank you for reminding me of how much my family and I loved those lights.
Thanks so much and I can't remember if we were there when they went on. What a wonderful spectacular they were and so glad we got to see them. Hope you have a wonderful week
Omg travel city went bust 2 weeks before we were due to go… it was a nightmare. Lucky tho we got it sorted and still got to go! Love the videos guys :)
Absolutely love this. Its always nice to look and see how holidays to florida have changed. We first flew with Monarch is 1997. Same as Travel City with TV in the aisles. Loved it though and makes fab memories x
I vividly remember those 24 months where 2006 immediately followed the end of 2005. Crazy times 😉😂... great work Tracey - laughed our heads off at that 👌 It is 100% the Doubletree now, everything you said including the petrol station and the Village Inn opposite is the same now (we stayed there in 2016). Really enjoyed this guys. Superb job ❤
@@CheersEars we don't particuarly remember the pong but we didn't rate it much at all but we know some people rave about it 🤷♂️ We thought you and Tracey were very polished and it was nice to hear the kids give it the "Cheers Ears" at the end 😂
Definitely spend a bit more time at Coronado, it's so lovely, beautiful foliage 🤣 Hiring a car is a game changer too, we've had so many great additional experiences by doing so 😍
New look Coronado was stunning - especially the foliage!🤣 - so it's definitely on our list to go back to. Watch this space re: driving....think I'll have to do it at some point. 🚗 🛑 ! Thanks for watching! x
Difficult to tell from that angle, but what shorts were you wearing?.... Isn't it funny how some of the best memories you have are when you're skint. Guess it's true that money can't buy you happiness, but it can but a nice pair of crossfire short! 😀 Thanks for recounting your experiences, enjoyed that. We were definitely in the camp of not really being Disney theme park people but we wanted to create memories for our girls including swimming with dolphins. We kept it a complete surprise until we got them up at 6am on the morning we left for our first ever Disney trip! We were very fortunate and thankful that BA helped us out, it was also going to feature as a full video but sadly the production of it got cancelled at the last minute. It would have been amazing to have had it on video. Next time can we hire cheers ears for the price of a pair of well known shorts....? We had planned to do it once only but enjoyed it so much we were hoping to return this year too for our daughters 16th. You can see the girls here at 2.13 middle left and 2.17 bottom left ua-cam.com/video/0wB6XJoGbDM/v-deo.html We didn't have a dinning plan so be great to pick your brains about the best places for food on parks and at Disney springs as I'm sure we missed most of the places! Also what do you think to Mickey's not so scary?
Oh wow - that's awesome! We wouldn't be able to keep it a surprise so good work! We'll all get back there soon...we're keeping everything crossed! 🤞 We might do another "sit down" to camera vlog about our dining plan experiences at some point soon so watch this space!!!! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. It really does mean a lot 💛
Amazing video as always guys!! It was fab hearing about your older trips as some of it is so similar to our trips! We always flew travel city until they went bust the week before we were due to fly out! 😭 we only got half our money back and had to startle for a week self catering in Cyprus. Lol. It’s also crazy to see how much Disney has progressed over the years! Xx
So lovely to hear it struck a chord...although having to change your holiday with a week to go must have been super stressful ☹ FIngers crossed we'll all be able to see the latest Disney magic again soon. 🤞 💛
Great post. Reminds me of our past trips. They mirror your experience quite closely. Main difference is we have always had a hire car. We have timeshare off site so it’s essential. 🙂
What a fab, really interesting video! I was one of those kids at school who had a few friends that went to Florida and I was fascinated by the place. We are trying to make up for it now though ha! A bit like you, we went in 2006 for our honeymoon and have a picture of us sat it in the wheel of a truck outside Race Rock!!! Fantastic place! We have a son now so a perfect excuse to go as often as we can afford. Definitely been there a few times when you lot have been there 😊
Oh how cool that you went to Race Rock! We passed it in a taxi a few years later while it was half demolished and it was a bit emotional! Great memories 😍
Great video! Really enjoyed that. Would love a video on how you book and tips on how to get good deals for staying on site, we have never stayed on site before, would love to do it one year.
You definitely should try driving over in the States! You adjust to it pretty quickly and the wide roads are nice to drive on when you're used to these tiny UK roads lol :)
Was the last place we stayed with our kids in 2008 when it was the international plaza resort or something like that , the year before it became the Doubletree, we were in the block right opposite the Village inn happy days
Probably a few but not from WDW as way too pricey for us! I think we had the Cinderella inside out one from M&S and a few from Woolworths! Belle was definitely one and of course Tinkerbelle!
I would love to be able to see you guys one day as you are all really really nice and thank you. Have you ever thought of doing a live stream or anything like that as I think you’ll become successful

🤣🤣🤣 this was so much fun to do . I had forgotten so much but so many.cool memories. Dont suppose you though the village inn was a bit pongy

Not sure about polished mate but it was a very unflattering camera angle for some reason. Would love to pop back to the village inn just for the feels

Great video! While I always appreciate the enthusiasm of Keith, I learned in this video that Tracey is the brains of the operation 👌🏼 😉
Ha ha ...behind every great man is a greater woman (doing the admin...lol!) 🤣🤣
Fab video! We agree about Coronado Springs, it was fab, we'd stay there again!
Thanks guys! Yes , one night was not enough! 💛
2 weeks wasn't long enough either 😂😂😂

You definitely should try driving over in the States! You adjust to it pretty quickly and the wide roads are nice to drive on when you're used to these tiny UK roads lol :)
Yes, I just need to get over myself and give it a go! 😱🤣
Was the last place we stayed with our kids in 2008 when it was the international plaza resort or something like that , the year before it became the Doubletree, we were in the block right opposite the Village inn happy days
Happy days indeed! It's been so lovely to hear that other people have shared those experiences too! 😁
Ooh you should defo drive it’s soo much easier than in the uk. Big easy roads. I’ve taken UK and US driving test. Xx

Do you have any idea if you had some Disney Princess Dresses between 2005 and 2019 and if so which ones did you have?
Probably a few but not from WDW as way too pricey for us! I think we had the Cinderella inside out one from M&S and a few from Woolworths! Belle was definitely one and of course Tinkerbelle!

Thank you for the comment on my latest video means so much
