How to Install High Tensile Fence - Black Horse Ranch Style

Here is a quick lesson on how to install high tensile fence. This is simply how we do it - there are many different ways, and I am sure there are lots of people with much more experience! Feel free to comment if you know of good tips and tricks. But hopefully this is helpful to some folks.

This video is the best one I've seen online for installation. Thanks!!! If you could post another video going into even more detail about the wire install, i.e. tensioner, crimping etc and gates I think I could put this fence up myself. Awesome job!

Gotta agree with all the other comments. Best video on the subject matter by far.
Detailed and really nuanced in some of the tips and tricks. About to get a new hammer with the waffle pattern and the spinning jenny for sure.
Might have missed it but what is the gauge/manufacturer of the wire you're using?

I've had success containing my cows without electrifying it. I'm definitely a a fan of hi-tensile wire. Is your wire always hot?
