    If appears on brick mode what you need to do is with the box on press and hold wps and diamond at the same time for about 10 seconds and that should be good

      My latest from them is to have a tech come to my house on Saturday for $80 & that might not resolve this issue. I have high speed internet, and the cable box and that costs roughly $126 a month, if I get rid of the cable box my service goes up $40. So needless to say I dont use my cable box and the issue is still unresolved.

      @@Jonny5Reviews if it's an optimum equipment error or outside wiring, the tech visit is free however, if it's for inside wiring they charge. :)

    Hold down the diamond and WPS button on the brick screen wait for the box to reset its video. Then pair that to your main gateway or A1. Follow instructions on screen and enjoy.

      @@yeahyeah4244 Repair. If it’s a mini and A1 box. WPS on A1( With clock display main AIO box.) and hold down wps on mini box until it starts flashing. With Ubee 1322/1326 gateway. (Modem router combo) press wps button once until lights flash and same process with mini. Hold down until flashing.

    OBV-090 it may be a billing error that can be corrected remotely. Please press and hold diamond+wps until it resets. It worked!

    Save thing happening with my tv. Customer service was no help. And it’s stuck on 61% since 11:30 last nite. It’s 9:46am. So pissed

    You know, they should do a top ten worst thing that Optimum Altice does with their customers. I know that replacing Music Choice with Sting ray is one of them. But the number thing is what they did in a small town in New Jersey during the pandemic concerning remote learning for school students, and ended up being investigated by the Better Business Bureau. No doubt that would be the top of that shameful list.

    I hate how every other day I have an issue with optimum. I have to restart the minis every other week. I hate how I don’t have another company to switch to. I’m happy I’m not alone

      That was the whole reason I made the video, cuz I couldn't find anything on the internet about the problem and I was fed up. So this video was a latch ditch attempt to ask my audience how do you fix this problem? I few folks responded with some helpful information, I'm no longer a optimum user anymore and now have Verizon. I had optimum for 2 almost 3 full years, and every month the price would increase $10 till I eventually called and complained cuz I was only using internet cuz my tv box didn't work anymore. As you can see in the video it is a glorified paperweight. My plan started at $110. At about $140 I complained, they credited my account the coverage fees, but still we're unable to fix the poor cable box problem, even after switching boxes and the whole 9. Basically if you encounter this problem your stuck until you cancel you subscription by returning your boxes and choosing to end your business with them.
      I wish I had seen the person who recommended getting rid of the splitter and direct to the router/box from connection.

    I have the same experience with Optimum. We have five boxes and we were told by the technician that in order to switch out the boxes we have to bring it in because the boxes are to heavy for them to bring with them on the truck. Meanwhile you want us to ay 400 bucks for the bullshit service and technical support they provide

      That's insane. Unless the tech bringing the boxes is handicapped how in the hell is that right. So 5 boxes for their service, fix the problem already,... I'm 1 to talk tho. I still have the issue, cuz I refuse to pay a tech to come on Saturday, in essence robbing me of my Saturday and costing me money at the same time for the problem to possibly get fixed. Or not in either case the tech would get $80 for whatever he does or doesn't do. It's just a shady business practice and I surprised no one has said " Aye, wtf optimum, I pay for your service and your boxes aren't working properly, why do I have to pay for your inspection and diagnosis when I'm already paying for your service" I pay $140 / month for internet and cable imo if your device that you let me use malfunctions they you should give me a swap, none of this bullshit where i have to pay for you to fix your problem... I'm not in contract with optimum, but considering I kno what it's like to not have internet access at my place, plus shitty satellite reception, i accept paying $140 for internet that would normally cost $180

      Just curious as I had a splitter, do you have a splitter in your home? I dumped optimum before I had the opportunity to replace my splitter possibly fixing the problem. So what I'm gathering from the comments here is the splitter can block signal, so it might never download completely becuz of the splitter. If possible try to wire directly into the box. I loved optimum when it worked. When it doesn't it just sucks. I hope 🤞 it's the splitter, $10 part at an Ace hardware, and maybe you can fix it before the tech wastes your day by saying thell be there 8-11am and then shows up at 245pm. Like doesn't anyone like being on time for work anymore?

      @@Jonny5Reviews check this one out, called Optimum one more time Friday because I read in a post, could be an accounting problem. Optimum Rep Mohammed says their system showed I was in the store, and asked me if I was, I said no. So, Mohammed ends up 'reactivating' my account. My service was freakin' shut off man! I asked why, and couldn't understand a lick of what he was saying. All I understood was 'not a problem now.' Erg!

    I have the same box. This is a disgrace I have the same problem almost. Box WPS always turns off all the time only had for 2 weeks. Happens in the living room but not the bedrooms.

      Bromigo return all your hardware back to optimum end your contract, hope your enrolled in a pay as you go situation. After termination go to Fios if available. If not, I got rid of optimum and then tried to get FiOS to learn it wasn't available but then had to go back to optimum. I only opted for their wifi package that comes with a year of free HBO max. I never had a problem with their surfboard router, although once again the bill will be different every month for no reason. Call complain and they adjust your bill. Call every month. Optimum is a terrible company and the moment another option becomes available to me I'd plan to jump the optimum boat for the next skiff any hour of the day.
      If your a gamer optimum is the best. No one will argue. But if you just want to stream TV, don't go with Optimum, other providers have cheaper packages. Although I cannot speak one how other providers customer service works, only Optimum's.

      Apparently, our systems are outdated and need to be replaced wether we want it or not… 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ I gave up. Will be way quicker to just take it over to them. Except that I no longer drive.

    I had very same issue so optimum sent me a tec. To my place and it ended up a faulty splitter that squat silver thingy that attached to the white cable wire. Now or works perfect. They should of sent you a tech or to you

      You know what's crazy, I had one of those installed by a tech, this situation for me personally is over,I had to turn everything in to them and end my service with them and moved, but I wonder looking back if that was the problem. I've done everything everyone else has said except to change the splitter.

    i have optimun for only6 months and i have this same problem and 2 techs here and 5 times over the phone tech as well and havent resolved thai issue i have their interenet service for 40 years when was cablevision on long island ny i cant get fiosin my area and its sucks i was thinking of gotto Dish i had direct tv for 6 years inbetween and was good never had problem i should had stayed with them but like anything else the prices going up

    The problem you are having with your cable box is you have lost the connection between router and TV.
    You need to re-sync the connection.
    Hold down the 🔶and wps buttons together till the box turns off
    You should then get a screen that tells you push the Wps button on your router once it will blink.
    Then within 2 mins press and hold Wps on TV for 5 secs till it says connection process started.
    Once that happens it should all work just fine. I know it works I just did it myself lol. Good luck

    Optimum is a horrible company to do business with. They have like you said has old cable lines and usually goes out during the slightest of inclement weather conditions.

    Dealing with this right now, we've had 4 technicians come out in a MONTH. and they haven't fixed anything so here I am trying to fix it myself 🥴 I did the "hold the wps and diamond button down" thing awhile ago, so I will update. It's been at 2% or 15 minutes so far

      Get rid of it, I haven't been an optimum user in about 1 year and about 8-9 months. Verizon although retarded expensive, high $200s, damn near $300. But no issues, no outage's, no problems with response times if you have an issue and if something technical is wrong they will make the effort to fix the solution with you over the phone before sending a tech out to try to identify and resolve the issue. My family has had to return our setup once becuz they update there entire system and our hardware was unable to take the new stronger signal that their system was pushing.
      The new set-up they initially give you is difficult to understand but just like anything else the more you use it the easier it gets to use. Overall experience with Verizon, I rather get everything I pay for, over 900 channels, Meg and I watch Hulu and Bob's Burgers every night lol. It's comical but we wouldn't have it any other way.

    I let my bill lapse during early COVID cause I was sick and wasn't home. Got this when I got back, thought it was just a billing problem. Paid the bill, nothing. Was able to force an update (the please wait scree you saw)
    Try holding down the diamond and WPS buttons until the screen resets. It then showed me a new "setting up your service" screen but I'm stuck at 61% as I type.

    I believe optimum does something on their end to lock your tv bc I had this issue yesterday after i switched my tv services off and just kept the internet...it was a way cheaper price but then i couldn't access my prime youtube or netflix......i dont believe in coincidence

    Your issue is not with the box. It is actually with the amount of signal coming box. From what I see, that box is receiving less than positive 2db of power. You may have a splitter that's reducing to power to the box.

    Yeah optimum does this shit pretty often it’s so fucked. Then you try and call em up and you sit there for more than a fucking hour trying to connect to a customer associate after going through their horrific automated system. Then 50% of the time they can’t even diagnose the problem and or fix the issue... If you have the great pleasure of having a person come out to your house to fix it, they don’t even give you an exact fucking time when they will arrive. Its alway some bullshit like oh between the hours of 9 and 2 pm your local adviser will arrive... what the fuck. Who has time for that? Fucking sit around here all day and wait for these jerkoffs? Fat chance. And most of the time when they come, they can’t even fix and and either have to take the cable box back with them and bring a new one a week later... The ONLY positive thing about Optimum/Altice One, is their call center is 24/7, and their internet is good like you said. Sorry man had to rant lol. I only liked the video because you were entertaining, otherwise I would have given it a thumbs down because Optimum blows balls.

      The end of my saga is they told me I had to pay to replace my box. I said no we had a power outage in my area and it's never been the same since. Optimum at the time told me if I change my box as my model was no longer available my bill would go up. However the internet worked just fine. This was the turning point for me personally when I started to watch subscription services and eventually had to terminate my account with them when I moved to North Carolina 3 years ago.
      The company refused to acknowledge the already enduring hardship of having to throw everything refrigerated away I had lost power for 7 1/2 days due to a tree falling over power lines and over the landlords' maintenance man's truck. At the time it was hectic but things are much better now. I will say tho it the matter went unresolved. I kept my defective box until I ended my policy with them and when I returned it the didn't ask anything about the box so I returned it in proper working condition. It turned on and everything, just couldn't download the patch needed to make it work. I got my credit and since I haven't had Optimum. Lived in NC for 10 weeks and came back. Every apartment I lived in since my landlord has given me access to their internet with no problems for the most part.

      If you lost it, it is what it is. Best bet if you don't want to pay the company to replace it, find a comparable model at a garage sale or even fb marketplace and try to return it as yours and when they say it doesn't match I'd be like this is what I have. It stopped working almost as soon as I got it from you guys

    Moved to Jersey from NYC this Altice is a outright Dud! Garbage! I would switch back to FIOS or the Optimum. They really tried to pitch this with the whole 4k bit when barely anything comes in 4k. Internet is mint (Brooklyn NYC term for good) cable sucks outright reboots on its own. HBO on demand doesn't even have every series Deadwood, Sopranos, etc etc

Altice just sucks outright. Switching to regular Optimum since that all you can get in my area. But I have what I need and more. Altice again it's just a dud.

    Without internet and tv, rep came out and acted as if he had 5 other orders, rushed out and nothing accomplished. Brick mode, bill never late or behind. About to lose job due to no internet. Was on phone with rep for 3 hours and texting with another for 3 hours.. nothing accomplisjed

    Optimum installers and customer service are non union idiots. When they came to install my service, the guy couldn’t even hook up the landline to the router! He said, I don’t know where on the router to plug it in. I had to tell him how to do it! VZ FIOS is a much better product, if you can get it where you are, but you still have to pay a lot. You need internet service to stream tv, so they have you cornered.. Everybody needs internet and they know it!

    press input or source and select the HDMi ...then when u get this screen .. disconnect ethernet cable from your mini box.... press WPS n diamond for 10 sec .. then go to modem... press WPS for 5sec...come to mini box and press WPS for 7sec... it will say we r preparing ur services... software update will be there....just pair ur remote nd good to go.... I work in optimum cx care nd I really know optimum. doesn't care at all.... charges a lot but it's cable boxes are really bug... we in india have much more best cable service's.... our services never get hampered for even 3-4 years.... boxes never go dead ... nothing ..

    I get an error message that says ACCOUNT NOT PROVISIONED. It's not allowing me to record at all. They replaced my boxes and I still get the same message.

      That may be because the DVR service was removed the accident from your account, that's something only a representative can fix, by making sure it's on the account.

    how is it that this video is over a year old and as of 10/23/2021 I'm still experiencing this problem? You think they would have worked it out by now. First off let me say that if you have the option for FIOS take it. unfortunately this shit Altice company is the only option in my building. So first off, the technician was supposed to arrive between 8-11 and decided to show up after 12. Couldn't get an update from the customer service on his location because, "They are not in contact with their technicians"??? guy finally shows up, is in and out in 15 minutes before he even bothers to check the TV. WIFI is working but now I'm dealing with this shit code/brick screen. I've been dealing with tech support but they are no use... I've given up after 8 hours of this shit. Have to wait until Wednesday to see a technician again who will surely show up late. Seriously my last move the guy from FIOS showed up early??? wow never happens. explained everything, set everything up perfectly. Have never had 1 issue with cable or internet. Tried the diamond/wps hold down reset but did not work either.. anything else to try id appreciate it!

      Believe it or not my problem never was resolved. I just ate the loss of cable and eventually turned in all my hardware. They have amazing internet, however the cable boxes this company sends it's clients out with are just garbage. Stop offering cable boxes all together and just have everything from the router. Give the purchaser of the Service a Password to access some sort of online portal to get all the content that they would otherwise pay for offered behind a Pay 2 View per subscription wall.

      There are absolutely useless at optimum. I am still told cuz I'm an existing customer that if I change my package in anyway my internet will go up in price regardless of what I do. Optimum has told me they could send a tech to my house on the weekend that would bill me $80 for a specialist tech to come and investigate my cable box issue. I feel that this is a total inconvenience and personally I would honestly record the guy from the moment he get to my house cuz I want to see how he fixes it and what he does so we all can be experienced techs. So what do you think? Is it worth $80 bux for a tech to steal a Saturday from me and try to fix my situation or I can live with fast internet at a cheaper yet still expensive price. I dislike their service; but this comment was posted on their wifi so it is what it is...
