I just found you and I’m so glad!! I’m newer to succulents and have found that planting them and taking care of them is great therapy for me. I love learning from your videos thank you for sharing your knowledge 💗
Thanks for your videos. You have most beautiful succulent garden. My succulents the nes outside but in shade, have recently started to shrivel. We were in summer just going into autumn. Any idea what i can do to revive them? I was watering the weekly or fortnightly.
Hi! Thank you for this video as I am starting to propagate my existing succulents because I have limited budget, and being a retired person I have all the time and want to save money by not buying anymore succulents! Also in this video, I saw a bird picking on the flowers of your succulents. How exciting that made me. I have to watch it over and over. Again thank you so much!
Hello madam can u plss tell me where to buy that chopstick or succulent" TONG"u are using???pls contact me on my fb profile Arona Flors tnx u so much madam
thank you! What do you think about water propagation? Some people believe succulent can be propagate faster in that way. Also, what do you think about using vitamin b1? I just receive my succulent from online shop, but still confused how to treat them. fyi, their roots not look good. they told me to cut the "dead roots".
Succulents are not all the same. Some love water; others are so delicate and prefer their roots dry most of the time. These plants have more chances of survival when left dry. Try to understand what your plant is trying to tell you. Check the link on the description and enroll in the free course. You’ll appreciate these plants better.
I like the "ease your mind when planting succulent" tip, but i have a slight problem, after five minutes i then remember "oh yeah college debt" Then proceed to have a panic attack
Hi, I am a fan of your channel. I have done the free online course of yours. I need your help , I am not able to grow string of pearls... They are dying on me repeatedly. They are getting crinkled and drying... I am watering them more frequently than my other succulents keeping them in semi shade... But with no success. I am using the same potting mixture which I am using for my other succulents. And rest of them are growing fine.
@@ChopstickandSucculents I live in India, Hyderabad. The weather here in general is warm(38°C-18°C), humidity (50%-15%) ,quite windy as I live in 17 th floor. My succulents are kept in balcony, they get full day bright light (direct sunlight 1-2 hr), not exposed to rain.
I loved your free succulent class - am looking for a link to get information on the upcoming class for growing colorful succulents. Such helpful content - thank you for all your work in putting this information out!!
I always enjoy watching your videos. Every time I feel like giving up on growing succulents, your videos light up my spirit again. So, thank you very much. You gave me so much inspiration. I just started to plant succulents in the last couple of months. I fell in love with them and I can't stop ordering for more by online because there's no succulent nursery in my city. Unfortunately, they kept rotting! Maybe because I watered them too soon after receiving them. So, I'll try your method next time, not to water them for the next two weeks. Anyway, do you happen to know about the soil mix for tropical climate? I live in a very hot and humid place, but it rains almost every day. The temperature is about 75-95 F. I use 50% peat moss and 50% pumice for my mix. And for the toppings, I use pumice or akadama. I keep my plants indoor. But they got rotten even with a small drop of water on the leaves, or exposed to the peatmoss part. It's really frustrating. Should I go for the extra gritty mix?
I think you should amend your soil and go for more grittier mix. Also, protect them.from the rain. When you select succulents for indoors, look for those with low- light requirements. Most succulents love to be outside.
@@ChopstickandSucculents everyone in here are crazy with the soilmix. Lots of arguments on what is right and should do with them. I did your mix and let my babies out in the yard for a month, and lo, they are healthier than before.
@@veehive8994 based on experience, there is no succulent mix that is fit for all succulents. A soil mixture that works well.in one location may not be the best in another. The same with the species of succulents. They have different needs.

They should plump up after watering. If not, check out their roots and base stem for any problems.
