**Clarification: Aberrants all have the -2AP/3Dam Heavy Power Weapons. Only the hypermorph is allowed to downgrade to the improvised weapon with 0AP/2Dam. That's a huge difference!!! Yeah, that knocks Aberrant to S-tier. Start boosting them with Strats & suddenly they're doing 20D+ to even Knights
While I agree that the Kelermorph is too expensive for what he does, I can't help but love the little Funny ha ha pistol man and take him in my armies just for the memes
I bring three of them and deploy next to each other with intention to kill one tough character or one squad of infantry, if all of them focus the same target - its awesome Even while I crapped with additional hits (only one 6 and it was 2 hits from d3 roll) and my opponent rolled good 5+ FNP - I killed DK marshal and 2 other guardsmen
Im just starting to learn, collect, and play this game and this is the faction ove decided to go with. Kellermorph was the model that really caught my eye at first and tho i havent played him, i had a feeling he wasnt all that play wise.
One of the perks with GSC is that their characters are so cheap that you can still toss them in for the fun of it & not really handicap yourself. Tbh, at only 55pts being able to bring in a Lone Op with 1OC is actually really really good compared to what other factions get access to so he's actually pretty decent all things said. Hope this vid was able to give you some helpful pointers though. My biggest piece of advice for newer players is to get Tabletop Simulator & get some practice in!! Feel free to shoot me any questions tho
I feel like with such a Knight heavy meta the magus deserves a higher rate- it's situational, but if you use a transport to get it in range of a Knight tyrant a single six more than recoups your points
Assuming you ran out of Primus' yeah I could see that as a valid strategy! Stopping even just a single shooting phase for a Knight would be *brutal* that's for sure
Oh god trust me I know. I got into GSC when they were brand new & uuultra expensive. Only back then they sucked lmao. Their pricing is deceptive now tho , an infantry kit is "only" $45 but then you realize thats still only 80pt, & then you need x2 characters...
Mad how much more it’s costs in the US. I got to 2k GSC for around £350 using the Start Collecting, Combat + Boarding Patrol, Broodcoven boxes with an extra Truck, couple of characters & some Atalans. Especially with the current exchange rate that’s $450

@@robjackson967 At least I'm not Australian! They *really* get raked over the coals by GW, I wanna say they pay like ~double what you would in the UK (though tbh it's been a while since I looked). But even for me in the US, yeah the price diff. is pretty wild at times haha - Back when the exchange rate was even crazier there were people who would book a trip to the UK just to buy a boatload of 40k models. Heck there's even services that'll buy your models in the UK & ship them to you lol. Used to basically be 1/2 half but the exchanges rates have changes since then
