The perfect way to start a high school day, a song from Lollia, from a game about struggling to stay who you are in high school. In all seriousness you nailed it with this one, and your other beneath the mask cover, the beginning of this one is especially strong. You have somehow strayed from the original twice, and well I'm sure there is going to be upset people, I personally think both have been fantastic, especially this one, you didn't stick to the normal but still delivered the songs feeling perfectly.
Really though, he's the character the song fits the most. With the other characters (Joker especially) the song kind of fits with how they might of perceived themselves but were moving passed, but Goro never got that chance. That's why he was Joker's antithesis: the worst possible outcome.
I think Persona 5 Royal is canon, if that helps :) They’re now releasing exclusively that version to different platforms, so I think the changes in there are canon :)

I think this line is about the different coloured rooms in Masque of the Red Death, each representing an aspect of humanity. So this means that the shapeshifter at Poe's Masquerade is someone who changes more than just their outward appearance but their heart.
