Imagine players are 99 for every attribute except for the most important one for their position. So like an OL that is 99 except has 0 strength or pass blocking or something. Or WRs with 0 catching. 99 QB with 0 throw power

He’s not bad. Someone broke down najee Harris and Arthur smith don’t use Najee the way he is meant to play. He is more of an inside zone, while the Steelers use him more in the outside zone which is screwing him up. What o-line does he have this year? Not even Warren looks good this year lol
@@JesseGray-ce6fi Protecting Najee is crazy. He is mid asf, yeah he’s had 1,000 yard seasons the past 5 years but only because he’s getting 250-300 carries a year? Like touching the ball that much and having that stat line isn’t a flex. He’s slow, scared to get hit and has horrible ball carrier vision. Warren is way better, he reads gaps, runs hard and puts his shoulder down with anyone. Doesn’t dance around in the backfield because he’s scared to get hit.
@@walkerbonthebeat5818 and yet he’s the reason we’ve won a lot of games lol. The o-line is the worst thing and can’t even protect fields, hes gotten sacked 13 times in 5 games so o-line is a need.

99 offense has the advantage against 99 defense, provided the defense does not have more faster players.
coverage can't keep up every play; zone d always has holes, and against man the receiver just needs a step.
running the ball against zone will get positive yards as long as the d-line doesn't get through, and blitzing against the run is risky cuz they might get around it.
i'm going with the 99 offense.
the reason i think this is bc i started a dynasty with a 99 def team in ncaa 14 (bc it sounded fun); not all defensive players are 99 everything, but it's close enough. if i didn't user the team, they'd allow around 150-200 ypg. teams with ~80 ovr offense can still get over 100 yards passing, and zone coverage can sometimes leave a man wide open down field still.
[ side note i thought was funny: the team displayed 77 ovr offense, 99 ovr defense, for a 99 ovr team. i think the defense was closer to 120 ovr than 99 lmao ]
Apparently, despite having 99 speed, accel, play rec, man coverage, and anything else that might be helpful against a guy running an out- or in-route, a corner can still get cooked on them. I don't think much has changed in that regard since ncaa 14.
Not to mention that if you go off score, Pittsburgh has no chance to score on offense since the WRs have 0 catching and the blockers have 0 blocking. Its skewed towards the 99 offense and i would be surprised if the offense doesnt win
