I have luckily found this modular second hand and I'm in the process of building it! I can't wait to add it to the collection! It will be the oldest modular I have.
I just discovered this channel, and this concept is something I have been looking for so long. I have been collecting the modular series, and it really helps to have an idea of how to arrange them. I recently purchased the Palace Cinema LEGO set, are you able to do a video on that? Keep up the amazing content!😄
Thanks for your feedback and interest! This positive feedback definitely helps me push out more related videos! The Palace Cinema is a good one! I modded my sidewalk with dark grey jumper plates to secure the spotlights, minifigures, etc. It’s more satisfying having them stay in place when moving it around. I did a video when I first built this (and when my UA-cam channel was just getting started). I’ll definitely consider another integration video! These videos are so fun! Great analysis! In my current display I have the Police Station by itself (that's just how space worked out in my city, it probably won't stay that way). An upside to that is that the lavender part of the donut shop side gets to be more apparent, adding much more color to the city. While putting the parisian restaurant next to it could let that wall be more exposed, the color combination isn't my favorite (though the white accents look nice together). I agree about Downtown Diner. It is one of the best modulars, but it can be a little tricky to place sometimes. I also like to have its left side more exposed. I usually put the BDP retro bowling alley on that left side since it fits really well thematically and architecturally, and it is a low enough building to work really well with DD's left side. As for the right side, that is the "ugly side" of the Downtown Diner (which still doesn't look that bad, IMO). I think the building that looks best on DD's right side is the Corner Garage (which also fits thematically). Interesting how many modulars seem to have their left sides designed to work well next to the one that came before it. Speaking of which, I think the detective's office looks pretty good on the Parisian Restaurant's right side. Modulars sometimes use mortar bricks for detail, but the detective office building itself is the only one to make most of the wall mortar bricks, which looks nice when more of it is exposed.
Thanks for your compliment & feedback! Good points! The retro bowling alley crossed my mind when considering the DD placement. I don’t have any of the BDP sets and dare not to start collecting them as they are just coming out 2 fast and 2 furious! 😂
Thank you.

What is the obsession with bathrooms in these modulairs ? 😅
My first modular, I paid around 128-140$ for it (currency estimation) Also, I think Parisian Restaurany works just fine as a corner building
One of my fav modular ❤ unfortunately I paid for retired price but fortunately is in my collection 😅
Maybe the fancy restaurants in the Lego world don't want to deal with all the bricks left by minifigures in the toilets so they got rid of them
@@RCmies 😂 I can just imagine a large group of people congregating on the street trying to figure out where to go. 🤷♂️
Missing Town Hall?
Yeah, I don’t have the ones before the Pet Shop of 2012.
@thegreenbrick the town hall came after the pet shop,
@@Agent_2008 Oh yeah, you’re right. Pet Shop is 2011 and Town Hall is 2012. Yeah, I’m missing Town Hall.
@@thegreenbrickwill u get more modulars
@ Definitely will be collecting each new one in the modular buildings series as they continue to get better!
Why so obsessed with the bathrooms?
you need bathrooms
@Agent_2008 thats lego Not real Life. If begin there where you end ?
@@typeR235 you still need SOME realism in lego, if i got the parisian restaurant, i would add a bathroom to it
Such a weird part of this video
I'm noticing for the first time that it is very skinny
