In this interview, she got particularly nervous when she got asked about GTA.

@@HobiAI It doesn't happen now. After Niko's VA, it didn't happen with anyone else. Even Johnny and Luis's VA are with Rockstar till this day, same with GTA5's MTF’ VAs.

Honestly for being in that position, she handled it pretty well. In her head she was going "Oh shit, how did they find out, I can't say a damn thing about this" and immediately went into denying and acting confused. In the moment I doubt anyone would've picked up on any of that.

@@JBAlternateI think in most of her post 2019 interviews, she expected to at least encounter a risky situation where they asked her about what she's doing and be prepared to just hide it (as seen in other interviews).
But a situation like this, she never could have predicted like you said. Host naming the exact franchise without providing immediate full context (ie 6), which in her mind was panicking.

She probably legitimately didn't know she had done voice work for GTA V/Online. It's not uncommon for voice actors to not know what project they're actually working on. She didn't come off as nervous to me either. More like confused.

I think that's where the confusion may have arose. She didn't quite know if she ever worked on a GTA but recalls voicing an NPC at the casino who she might've not necessarily known was for a GTA (online update). I don't think she was necessarily lying or being (technically) contradictory here.

The interviewer structured the question really weird. They asked her if she had done voice acting for GTA, not GTA5! And took forever to specify which GTA they were talking about. She legit didn’t remember she was on GTA5 so she could’ve said “yes I was on GTA5” and moved on. But now we have this super awkward exchange and everyone suspecting she’s Lucia.

And then still failed to help her by specifying which for the longest time even after she was visibly confused. I think she was covering her tracks about GTA6 and thought you were asking about that but had the question been specified about 5 right away she would’ve known.
Solo was voiced an gang member NPC in GTA: SA way before being Franklin in GTA V.
Also Manni was voiced an NPC in GTA Online.
Rockstar's preferences are oddly sometimes.

@@heavenandhello6629 Johnny Klebitz actor has still no issues. As I said, Rockstar stopped casting major celebrities after GTA 4 for main and lead roles that's why from Johnny K’ to Mike, Frank and T, they didn't have any issues with actors.

Usually VA won't ever know what game they're working on until the title has been revealed. I guess the devs still uses the project name to them voice actors to keep it unknown to them.
That's right, however, they aren't voice actors. Rockstars games have been using motion capture aka real acting ever since Bully. They don't just do voices, it hasn't been done like that for atleast 18 years
Wouldn't it arise doubt among actors mainly protagonist when performance is captured and dialogues are recorded for long period of time?

@@TrickyPanda65 I was able to find her NPC's audio files. There's one particular piece of dialogue where she says something along the lines of "stop it, now!" I compared that to the diner robbery in the leaks where Lucia's shouting at the cashier to open the register and the cadence in her voice with the delivery of the word "now" was spot-on.
