I've played celeste for over 500h at this point. I'm not naturally good at the game. I took about twice the normal amount of time for my first playthrough. But the whole sentiment of the game os that you CAN overcome it's difficulty if you persevere. I haven't just played through the base game. I've played through all the extra levels, and got almost all collectibles (I'm still missing all 1-8b,7-8a, 8c, and farewell golden berries, so I'm at 190 berries) And I'm playing mods now, which are even harder (spring collab beginner-intermediate lobby (except one level completed, 100trap, and d sides currently at 5d) It's not a game that's fun and easy. For real. I have over 700 hours in the game and 196 strawberries only missing 5a, 6a, 7a, 8a, 8b and Farewell.
