  • In this video, I walk the entire Freedom Trail from beginning to end while going by all the different historical sites. The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile walk stretching from Boston Common all the way to the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. The walk will take you by many historic sights like the Massachusetts State House, the Park Street Church, the Granary Burying Ground, the King's Chapel, the site of the Boston Latin School, the Old Corner Bookstore, the Old South Meeting House, the Old State House, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's House, the Old North Church, Copp's Hill Burying Ground, the USS Constitution, and Bunker Hill Monument.

Thank you ,Scott, for such a wonderfully educational and interesting walking tour of Boston’s Freedom Trail !!! It’s been a long time since I walked the Freedom Trail in my youth and now that I’m older , my mobility isn’t as good as it used to be so I really appreciate you doing the walking for me !!! I admire your energy, enthusiasm, and endurance !!! Thanks again for the great tour and for allowing me to see all the wonderful sites that I remember from years ago !You brought back many happy memories for me !!!

Thank you for giving a one shot video of the freedom trail. Too many videos cut in and out of sites and I cant gain the sense of time or distance between them. Wonderful upload for a coming visitor!

I loved this walking tour! Especially the part with the bridge over the Charles River (and the dogs, too)! I'm very excited to see what freeway vids you got! Do you still plan to head to Atlanta sometime soon?

Thank you! The freeway video will be out in 1 week today! I have zero plans of visiting Atlanta right now.

It’s nice to see many old buildings in cities still preserved and used to this day. But when it comes to the driving experience. No thanks, i wouldn’t want to end up in those tight situations, especially when roads technically become a 1 way thx to parallel parked cars.

I'm the same way! That's one of the reasons why I do not drive in Boston. The roads are rather chaotic there. I always feel more relaxed when I just walk everywhere in Boston (and take public transportation) and enjoy all the great historic sights.

It seems that a lot of the New England clam chowder available in the rest of North America is the canned type anyway.

That's probably true. I think I have only seen it on the menu here in Michigan in places where the food is probably microwaved.

@scottman895 Yes, a lot of the chain restaurants just reheat things. To be honest, the restaurant I currently work at uses some canned and frozen ingredients.

@@robertsitch1415 Gotcha. I know a lot of restaurants do that too.

@scottman895 Yes, almost all breaded chicken is bought frozen, and at least half of the casual places use frozen fries.
