I have been a cubs fan since i was born because my dad was a cubs fan since he was a kid and i have been deep into baseball i am currently playing for a middle school team and i have prayed and prayed for a win and we finally did it, i cried so much i was so happy and i still find it hard to believe its truly amazing.

I remember fans who questioned Theo Epstein, and really thought that nothing could ever bring the Cubs to the World Series, let alone win it. There was something about 2014 that was different. Even though Maddon wasn't there yet, most of the young guys only debuted in September, and they still had a losing season...you just had a feeling that there was something brewing. And now, two years later, they have that World Series.
