What I like about your videos is the detailed descriptions of train stations, which we usually don't find in other channels.

The road where the bicycle parking were on one side had back in the days tram tracks. Closed in 1971. When renovating the street in 2012 they found the tracks under the asphalt.
Look up: En tur i Aarhus sporvogn 1971 Danmark
BTW the First Class lounge on Aarhus H are open all days in the opening times of the ticket office. So it's Monday to Friday between 8 AM - 5:30 PM. And in the weekends and Holy Days between 10 AM - 4:45 PM

Don't worry about the plastic bottles, there are "pfand" on them, so you can get some money for them. Here in Denmark, "Pfand" was introduced in 1942.

Such an interesting intercity. It's Diesel, very rare to see Diesel intercity trains these days

Fun Fact the IC3 is very similar (almost identical) to the Series 594 in the Canfrancero

The IC3-replacements would be delivered between 2024 and 2030 gradually replacing the IC3 trains. (alrady delayed to 2025) The new trains will not be able to go to Aarhus untill the end of 2026 where the tracks between Fredericia and Aalborg will be electrified.

@@tijmen131 It’s not all Diesel. The line between Copenhagen and Fredericia, Fredericia and Esbjerg and the line between Fredericia and Germany are all electrified. They did order new trains back in 2005. These trains were supposed to be both electric and diesel. However those trains dont work.

@@magnuskongskov3532 ah thank you for some more information. Very interesting! Why is so much still diesel and why did those trains not work?

"The train types that are being used (until 2025) will be the IC3 trains of the Danish state owned railway company DSB. "
Not true, they will be replaced by ex-DB InterCity coaches from next spring, hauled by Vectron sandwich.

To be more precise they will be replaced by leased DB intercity coaches form April 2023 until 2024 -2025 when the Talgo coaches will be delivered
Although the IC3 will still be in service until 2028 but only on national routes

Musstet ihr eine Maske aufsetzen, als der Zug in deutsches Gebiet fuhr?
