I like these interviews. No bullshit, talking the blunt truth no matter how dark. These guys (SAS, SBS, Military) are the real HARDMEN of the human race. It makes the gangsters in Cities who carry knives, rob people, and sell drugs seem absolutely pathetic. The amount of balls and motivation it must take to do the job they do is phenomenal. We can learn a great deal from their wisdom, life lessons, and mindsets. Respect. Great video guys!

I am so happy to hear this from someone from The Regiment. It took me many years to realise the power of mindfulness and tracing my past actions. The military on a whole should be doing mindfulness. As a young kid, I was already mentally in the army (The Royal Green Jackets) before I actually did basic training. I did it so often that by the time I got to the battalion, it felt totally natural.

an example of a sound healing warrior - a man that recognises the power of his thoughts, and taught himself how to channel the energy to work for him. Changing the mantra of the thoughts and therefore mind and replacing those patterns and sounds with ones that work for him to get the job done, surviving passing training and dealing with trauma. You can see his awareness come through as he speaks and visualises . Nice interview

His story about the foot injury remined me of the Royal Navy field gun team member who lost a finger in an accident with a 200lb field gun wheel and just shrugged and carried on. One of his team mates found it and stuck it in his pocket as a souvenir.

I ended up watching the whole thing and idk, I guess it inspired a shift for me. I deleted the resignation forms, and decided to work a bit harder instead of giving up. I come back and rewarch this one every so often now while trying to get control of my life. I'm about to buy a car after years of being afraid to drive, I just ran my first 5k race after knee and back injuries that had convinced me I couldn't do much of anything anymore. I've spent last 3 years as sole unsupported carer for a clinically vulnerable person (COPD, sus dementia, delirium) through a pandemic. Family distant. Supermarket, pharmacy, hospital etc. Can count other interactions on both hands. "Be the sky, everything else is just weather". Began fitness training on Boxing day, now doing 8 mile crosscountry carrying 10kg in under 2hrs (the most time I can allocate away). Middle-aged, building up. It helps me massively.
