I like these interviews. No bullshit, talking the blunt truth no matter how dark. These guys (SAS, SBS, Military) are the real HARDMEN of the human race. It makes the gangsters in Cities who carry knives, rob people, and sell drugs seem absolutely pathetic. The amount of balls and motivation it must take to do the job they do is phenomenal. We can learn a great deal from their wisdom, life lessons, and mindsets. Respect. Great video guys!

We can all learn a lot from this guy. BUT more importantly all the other interviewers can learn a lot about how to interview from the mulligan bros. no interruption, no interjection of their own life story (kemp), just direct questions and then allow time to answer. Superb, only half way through and you’ve gained a subscriber.
I went for Navy selection and was recommended/asked to join the Royal Marines, single mum wouldn't let me due to the IRA. Joined the Navy, became a submariner, ships diver and completed freefall para training. Loved my time but got bored, worked with SBS and SAS and should have pushed for more. I respect all special forces operatives. Go for it, follow your dreams and be the best you can be.
I have learned more from this man, than all of my psychiatrists, family, friends and every person I've ever met put together. Thank you for this wisdom. My life is going to change for the better.
I listened to Ant Middleton's audio book on here about how hard he is and all the blokes he knocked out blah blah blah so I was reluctant to listen to this, I stand corrected..what a top fella Ollie is, great interview!

As someone whos just applied for the marines what an inspiration this interview has been. Never really paid much attention to Ollie until now. Always focused on Ant.
CTCRM is a very interesting place. Those 32 weeks minimum, can make or break you. Babies heads, Gorse, Zinc oxide tape and sleep dep will challenge you. Practice cold water training before u go in. Winter training is harsher than the warmer months

I am so happy to hear this from someone from The Regiment. It took me many years to realise the power of mindfulness and tracing my past actions. The military on a whole should be doing mindfulness. As a young kid, I was already mentally in the army (The Royal Green Jackets) before I actually did basic training. I did it so often that by the time I got to the battalion, it felt totally natural.
What a bloke. Keeps you hanging onto every word doesn't it? Well rounded guy. The visualization and manifestation of situation is tingling. Very powerful soul. Glad you're still around bud.
Be relentless. Choose one thing you want, eg, driving licence, pick your next goal, achieve it, then you'll be on a role and know what it takes to make your life better, chose one or two goals, do not set yourself up to fail, keep achieving and moving forward, with purpose
an example of a sound healing warrior - a man that recognises the power of his thoughts, and taught himself how to channel the energy to work for him. Changing the mantra of the thoughts and therefore mind and replacing those patterns and sounds with ones that work for him to get the job done, surviving passing training and dealing with trauma. You can see his awareness come through as he speaks and visualises . Nice interview

Visualization.....amazing weapon. I remember once being on a March through a native forest on training for tracking skills in middle of blizzard, nothing but only a picture of a fireplace to keep warm.

Ollie mentions the Iranian Embassy siege. Holy crap that was over 40 years ago! His story about the foot injury remined me of the Royal Navy field gun team member who lost a finger in an accident with a 200lb field gun wheel and just shrugged and carried on. One of his team mates found it and stuck it in his pocket as a souvenir.
When you stand back and look at the brainwashed society we are surrounded by, I'm truly thankful to these incredibly strong minded humans to jolt us into a better world. Next year I'm doing the coast to coast from St Bees to Robin Hood's bay. Thank you.

Wow, Your story so powerful, The first 20mins is similar to my story Joined 1989 , NI Belfast at 18yrs old , Bosnia 19yrs old . By the time I was 21 felt disheartened nothing was going on stuck in Warminster 2yrs put my 12months notice in & left in 1995. Wish I’d of had someone come upto me & give me some wise word of encouragement to drive me forward.
I found this video by accident while mindlessly browsing UA-cam for music to listen to while writing my resignation letter from my dream university, and a note because I was considering giving up on life entirely. I ended up watching the whole thing and idk, I guess it inspired a shift for me. I deleted the resignation forms, and decided to work a bit harder instead of giving up. I come back and rewarch this one every so often now while trying to get control of my life. I'm about to buy a car after years of being afraid to drive, I just ran my first 5k race after knee and back injuries that had convinced me I couldn't do much of anything anymore. So thank you for that, because I'm not sure I'd be where I am without that.

I have to agree with Ollie regarding visualisation.....and I have listened to Kenneth Goddard's lectures who says that God is our visualisation there is no external god, it lives in each of us. This should be done with the feeling, as well as the visualisation. It does work, it happened in a huge way for me twice. We are our own gods. Great interview.
I don't think it too great a stretch to suggest this guy truly is a spiritual warrior.. To listen to his thoughts on manifestation, visualisation, subconscious patterning, breathwork and goal setting are extremely enlightening and not at all the pre conceived ideas one might make about a special ops specialist .. I've spent last 3 years as sole unsupported carer for a clinically vulnerable person (COPD, sus dementia, delirium) through a pandemic. Family distant. Supermarket, pharmacy, hospital etc. Can count other interactions on both hands. "Be the sky, everything else is just weather". Began fitness training on Boxing day, now doing 8 mile crosscountry carrying 10kg in under 2hrs (the most time I can allocate away). Middle-aged, building up. It helps me massively.
Heart of gold and chest of steel. I remember wanting to, and thinking about joining OUR armed forces... This guy did it! - I am so proud he did. I for one bottled it.
