Explain to Me the half point in player prop betting ? How can you possibly get half of a point on any shot it doesn't make sense ? For example say curry has to make 3.5 threes the whole game and he gets 3 , how can u possibly get a half point to break even to win your pot ? Like why not say you have to get 4 ?
The 3.5 is an over/under number. If you bet the over, you’d need Curry to make OVER 3.5 threes, not exactly 3.5. In fact, if he somehow did get to exactly 3.5 threes, you would still lose. A tie does not equal an over. The half point makes it so there’s never a “tie.” He’s either gonna be under 3.5 or over it.
