    Great series Zach. There's some things to point out for beginners that are really not recommended which I know you know, but didn't come across in the video:
    - Front L/R in the ceiling should be avoided if at all possible - the ultimate clean setup would be to put them all in wall at ear level.
    - In this case, pull the Center to the front of the cabinet to avoid reflections.
    - Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume have caveats and will impact the performance and accuracy of the system in exchange for quiet listening.
    - Don't move, make noise, or obstruct the mic or speakers when calibrating.
    - Multi channel stereo is not the intended way to use a surround system and really shouldn't be used unless there is a specific reason.

    • @Bicki
      @Bicki Рік тому +3

      Isn't the Multi channel mode ideal for listening to music? If I just went with my fronts L/R and the center, then I would give up on my back speakers.

      I actually like Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume settings because you can play videos, make dialogue sound loud at lower volumes, which is great to avoid complaints from neighbours

    @17:20 you have rear surrounds installed in the wall. Can you pick 5 channel with LCR+ rear surrounds (the classic 5 channel setup) as opposed to 5 channel with LCR + side surrounds (the modern 5 channel setup)? Like you my speakers are in the rear.

    • @Dreamediaav
      @Dreamediaav  Рік тому

      Good questions. Regardless of where your surround are in the room (side or rear) you still only select surround when doing a 5 channel bed layer. If you had two sets of surrounds for a 7 channel bed layer it will separate the audio between the two sets of low level speakers. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

    Great video but I have 2 questions and concerns. First, you have the Apple 4K TV plugged into the Media Player slot. I have it in the CBL/SAT because my cable provider app is on there. Does that make a difference? However, my main issue is that my Cinema 60's volume has to be turned up to 50-55 just for basic listening. I only have a 3.1 right now so thinking this amp just doesn't have enough juice. Within Audyssey I have Dynamic EQ off but noticed changing Dynamic Volume to Light or Medium helps a bit as do the Sound Modes. Curious what people's thoughts are on that

For example, if I am watching a stereo TV show and then a film in DD 5.1 comes on, will the unit inform me that the sound has switched at all, either through the front porthole display on using onscreen graphics?

    would it be such a big issue to just set all your hdmi port on the AVR to 8k enchanced even if some of your devices do not need the full 48 bandwidth for the hdmi ? I would not understand why it would be an issue but you seem to say that you should make sure of them being aligned. I think if your receiver is giving your more bandwidth than you really need its totally ok, its if you set it to a lower bandwidth and then try to get HDR or 120hz at 4K that you have issues.

    it is way far and gone from a properly ventilated cabinet with something like that. You absolutely need a T 10 front venting cooling system that is going to get incredibly hot in that tiny little cabinet, especially with other electronics running in there. Also anybody that's gonna buy a cinema 50 is probably gonna understand how they like their speakers set up so I always recommend if you know what you're doing to set it up manually for the way you like it just play the audio tones and give yourself the volume that you feel is appropriate for your set up there's nothing worse than having a "standard"set up done by somebody who doesn't understand what you'd like to hear the basic adjustments that are used by the amplifier itself with the microphone set up. It never satisfied my needs not one single time with one single product. I happened to own the cinema 50 with the MM 7055 amplifier. I always set up my speakers manually. Also there were about 10 settings. He did not go through that are very important to getting quality sound out of your amp so although very long it was not very informative for those that do not want to use an automatic set up which againI never recommend for those people who have two ears that function properly

    You could tell the idiot that purchased that system is very knowledgeable. You can see in that video all the light coming in from that window washing out the TV. Meaning you can't watch it during the day of course you can close the blinds but that's not a very good setup for that environment he will be buying something new in a year

      It would be nice to have even more light output! 4000 lumens is great but there are massive 12’ high windows in the room. We should the space in other videos with windows open and closed. It’s good for the price point but of course there is always better options available when you spend more. We will show you better solutions in upcoming videos!

      Yeah it’s the price point of the LS800. It’s not a big deal though. Most people will get a sound system and a separate source like Apple TV so it doesn’t affect the quality of Dolby Atmos. Thanks for watching Paul!

      @@FooFighter33 that’s that I thought. Sounds good Paul! For people who may read this in the future the eARC is to take higher quality audio out of the projector when using the smart features like Dolby Atmos. Certain apps will still output Atmos like Disney plus but it will be a compressed version. You would want to get a separate media player like I have in this set up to get the best audio quality. I am using an Apple TV. Hope that helps guys!

    You think any of us "normal" people could afford 1/millionth of what you have here?....
    In my community with a secondhand onkyio, 7 battered old speakers, and a pair of cambridge audio ls120's (8 inch subs) im considered a snob..... most people can barely afford a £40 soundbar, and thats without the sub....
    Welcome to the uk, not a 3rd world country, but below a 4th world country........
