As a Coryxkenshin fan, I never have minded when he takes a break because it's comforting to know that he's looking out for himself. People seriously need to learn some patience. He'll come back when he's ready, he's not the only UA-camr on the platform.

I think he didn't wanna do DreamCon, but he forced himself to show the fans he's in good spirit, the entire stream I could tell Cory was physically present, yet partially spaced out as if he's just going with the flow. Him doing an appearance proves he LOVES the supporters. I think he doesn't give us proof of life because he feels it'll be a burden, because once you do something people except you to do it every time. I think Cory has enough IRL friends like Dashie that'll let us know if Cory is sick or anything.
I don't think it's mental health, I think its just him being protective of his energy and personal space. But also, he's just living life and if we're true supporters we should be proud of that, and for the YEARS of content Cory has given us i think we should be satisfied, even if he decides to retire. This man doesn't owe us any more than he has already given.

But if he is such a genuine and open guy with his fans, which I wholeheartedly believe so, why not let us know? Let us know when you decide to take a hiatus, let us know if you are gonna retire, let us know. If you just ghost us, then people will become paranoid and rumors will spread. If you say you will retire but then retcon that and say you will keep uploading in the future, but break that promise too, people will become spiteful or even lose interest in you.
I feel like Cory has been dragging this out for far too long, if he wants to simply live his life with his family and friends (like the Japan trip with Poiised), star in movies like the FNAF one, etc. then let us know you will retire. If not, then at least give us a notice when you go on a break. We aren't asking for a time span, just a notice when you leave, because asking for a schedule is unreasonable. I support him till the end since he has helped me during the pandemic and has made me laugh on my worst days, but he needs to make up his mind. Both for himself and his fans. I could also just be overthinking everything and he is completely distanced from us and social media, off living his life having moved on from UA-cam without any notice since he is not obligated to tell us anything. It would just be a nice courtesy...

I cant speak for Cory but i know that Daequan and Dizzy had these issues too where they were gone so long that people thought the worse. As someone who had tough socialising issues and anxiety myself i know that somedays i dont even have the courage to respond to an "are you okay" text. Idk whats up but if we've seen this behavior before by other creators then it has to be something bigger going on and if that i wish them nothing but strength and recovery
@@benji_san Yea there's always the off chance Cory is going through something personal past just living his life and taking a hiatus because of that, so I keep my mind open. He's shown us a little of that side with his aunt and grandmother passing away, and his reveal about how he edits his videos all by himself.
As a CoryxKenshin fan myself I agree that it's going too far and yes he does leave sometimes but that does not mean he is dead and going to die one day because he is rich and he has a nice life.

As some one who loves and sees Cory as a role model, and some one who Cory has gotten out of the darkest pits of anxiety and depression, you could understand the small panic attacks when I see people saying he’s dead or something else bad. These rumors need to stop. People take breaks and that’s fine, but what’s not fine is telling the internet some one is dead.
I always get upset seeing comments about him being dead, leaving cause of mental health etc. Like, come on y'all, he can't keep doing this forever. He needs his time, but also too for his family. I noticed from time to time he'll be gone for family reasons and im happy hes taking care of himself and his family, the Internet shouldn't be your first priority, its yourself and loved one
And I know some people are going to say "this is babying him", I'm not trying to do that, I'm sympathetic with him. I know what it's like to take time off of something and to take care of yourself and family.

Im apart of CoryxKenshins fanbase myself, and it makes me so aggravated how a lot of other fans are so annoyingly desperate for him to post. Cory has also said in some of his videos that he's only a human, not a content machine, which is obviously correct. It's also really manipulative of those types of fans to love Cory when he does what they want but when he tries taking time off to live his actual life, they get upset and slander his name. It’s normal for humans to want to have breaks, whether that is for family, himself such as his mental, anything. Bro, 0:13 seconds into the video, and even though this is supposed to be a hypothetical scenario, this actually did happen to me, and it was the person I looked up to the most. I hope no creator or viewer has to go through that because years later, I still have to just take moments to mourn whenever I’m reminded because I have years of some of my best memories with him, and seeing how much he could’ve done or how much he could’ve been, even without that, how much he brought to my life through his content, it hurts being abruptly reminded of his passing every time I remember good times with him. It was an environment that you had to always be in to understand the weight of how important it was to have him with us now.

@@FargoTheFed It was Etika. I got a lot of confidence to represent my love for Japan, Nintendo, anime, and black culture from him. He just had that environment where you always felt like you were really there and a part of everything. With influence like that. I was able to even get every kid at my middle school to T-pose across the football field. I had kids putting money on games of Smash, sharing inside jokes that I made, and everything. All I needed was Etika and that one good group of friends, and I had all I needed to be everything I wanted. Middle school wasn’t the best experience, but it fluctuated between rock bottom and sky high, and the sky high parts wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for the influence I got from Etika.

He is so genuine and open with us, and we are a loyal community of samurai, why not let us known when you are gonna go on a break. ofc Cory isn't obligated to do this, but it would let his fans know that he is taking time off, instead of just "ghosting" us then being surprised when rumors like this pop up. Lot of people will fall prey to paranoia over time and when it comes to their favorite UA-camrs, there is no difference.

(i am currently 11) I do think that he deserves to take breaks, and everyone does as well. But when he takes these breaks without any notice, or posting a 15 second long video saying he feels that he should take a break, people will begin to jump to conclusions and say he's dead. We get the okay that he's not dead because he did post on his birthday on insta, but after that, he was silent and hasn't posted since. I do really think he deserves a break, and people should just wait for him to come back. But it's also smart to give fans a heads up before going on break.
