Alex check out the south of Guadalajara (directly from Avenida Lopez Mateos) it has some very nice leafy neighborhoods among the forest, including Ciudad Buagambilias and El Palomar, in Ciudad Bugambilias in the upper side you have plaza panoramica with several restaurants on the upper floors overlooking Guadalajara, at night you get a beautiful view of the city. During the rainy season sometimes you see the storms falling over the city while you eat. There are also some very nice shopping centers like Punto Sur and Gallerias Santa Anita. @@alex-wittmanMexico has fresh ingredients and none of the GMO bs thats in the state. There food quality is waaay better. This is why you can taste the flavors when you eat. It also helps that Mexicans in my experience are very talented and creative people. This is why there is so much color and energy in the country. They can also cook very well and it shows when you eat at non Mexican restaurants. They have a beautiful country. No country is perfect but the good outweighs the bad imo. Happy travels👍🏻❤️
Off topic. Another UA-cam channel reports that inflation in Mexico has been high. Coupled with the change in exchange rate and looking at Numbeo, it appears that the cost of living in Mexico isn't that much difference than in many places in the United States now. Rents are probably the exception. Curious what your experience has been. Thanks
We live in Mexico (also Guadalajara) and it is way cheaper here than the US. On a high month with eating out all the time, weekend trips, cleaning lady, our food prepared for us and spa days it’s max $3k for two people. And that’s balling out.
Those are lovely places that you visited, cool that you took up skating! The view when you were hiking was amazing, so sorry about the food poisoning, the Shake Shack?
This weekend started out STRONG and finished....watch till the end to find out what happened 🫠
Hold up - was it food poisoning from Shake Shack?
Thanks for sharing this slice of life in Guadalajara. Appreciate it!
My hometown!!!
