The first is in Agon Wastes when you are solving a Morph Ball puzzle to open the gate to Dark Aether for the first time; there are those rolly-polie things you only encounter in Morph Ball where you can't scan (here is the only place where they come into view, and they never show up again after this point in the game, so don't miss it!). The second is against the dreaded Spider Ball Guardian (one of the hardest bosses in the game, second only to the notorious Boost Ball Guardian--who was so difficult the lead designer for MP2:E had to play it in debug mode in order to beat it); right before the battle, you can see it rolling around behind glass tubes, so as soon as you start the battle against it you will never get that chance again!

6yrs late but on dark samus fight dont run from the homing phason particle blasts. Charge up the power beam and suck them in and return fire. Those homing blasts are your friend.
Metroid Prime fight compared to this wasn't absolutely nothing!
So they decided that the countdown timer wasn't enough huh? "Oh let's throw in one more boss you have to fight and if you're not quick enough it's game over." Now... THAT'S MORE LIKE IT NINTENDO! The escape sequence should have also been in the first game imo. Putting a final boss is pushing it but hey sometimes a challenge can be good :)
technically the space station has an escape sequence? I think. Been a decade.
It was an iconic move. Best rush and most fulfilling after you beat her. Better than the first prime imo
I wonder if they'll Remaster this game next.
Man, the Wii really nerfed these Metroid bosses. A regular shot on this system is as strong as a charged shot on the Gamecube.
Wow, really? Even on the Veteran mode? (Gamecube's equivalent to normal)
Definitely. In the boss battle against final Dark Samus on the Wii for MP2: Echoes, to get the damage you do with a super missile, you'd have to use the super blast from the Annihilator beam.
But isn't the only, actual effective combo the Super Missile? All the other beam combos move too slowly and do horrible damage,
Eh. They were never really hard anyways, I'm just glad they're not massive bullet sponges anymore.
The patterns are the exact same, the only difference is that they go down faster, making an enemy a damage sponge isn't really making it harder, is just making it tedious.
Is it just me or is the guy playing here really bad...?
I'll say. how did this guy not know to Scan the Emperor Ing's Eye?
Well try playing this on hard mode, then say he's bad
Idk about y'all but I hate boss fight videos where the person doesn't struggle at least a little bit
@@jogsi1558 It's not hard mode. The boss's health is drained really fast .
better than me lmao
12:57
The Spider-Man pointing meme
Gotta admit, this was a really impatient fight
1:30 I hope you've gotten used to that sound effect, cause you're gonna be hearing it a lot in this fight...
I got used to it in the Phazon Mines
dark samus cooked lmfao
The last time I saw him he has lots of firepower
hmmm you must be playing on the Gamecube then? the boss fights have been made a little bit easier on the wii than on the cube
Tsumefan2 i don’t play GameCube and I don’t know what it is plus I’ve never played metroid
@@Apollodragon-mb2cq wtf
This is the most hardest boss in all of the Metroid serie 5 battle!
one of my favorite bosses next yo parasite queen and berserker lord
justin hepburn Fuck this poorly designed boss
*Emperor Ing phase 3:* If you’re not going to keep still, then I’m going to hunt you down! I won’t let you end our reign, Aether is ours!
I got to admit, this boss creeped me out back when I saw it in Middle School...
Ken Elder
I can relate but instead of being creeped out. When I saw his final form I thought of it being so cool and badass. But I was at least 6-10 at the time too instead.
you mean you saw it in your school?
Anyone ever hit the 3rd form through the hole in the back of its body?
Super sloppy fights :/ Also why include Dark Samus if you couldn't beat it?
Dark Samus can be beaten, it's just the videographer who didn't understand how to beat her at the time.
No Charge combos? Come on!
WARING VERY L O U D 2:24
Is it ok to say that ing are much worse and scarier than the x?
If the Ing figured out a way to escape their dimension safely they would absolutely dominate.
@@firestarex3544 yes, those things are much worse. I mean the X alone would be too much, imagine if those Ings would had spread everywhere? But it seems that the Ing doesn't multiply as fast the X though. Also could you imagine if both creatures ended up infecting one another and what we have is a new type of hybrid creature that is much worse than both separated? I think everyone would be screwed for sure!
Yup. The X are terrifying in their own right but their limited to absorbing organic matter and recreating it to better suit their needs
The Ing can, will and have taken over machines of war built specifically to kill them and can possess living creatures to enhance themselves just like the X
The only reason the Ing weren't a galactic threat is because they were so focused on finishing off Aether first before moving on. Had they spread to other planets even Samus wouldn't have been able to do much to stop them. The only reason she won here was because she pulled them out by the root before they could really grow into a serious threat
I used the sonic boom against dark samus and took out like a third of her health lmao. Perhaps the most badass weapon in the whole trilogy.
so its a mixture of light and dark?
Yes, cause is a dark creature that ate light and also phazon, but phazon just made it a lot stronger.
just like annihilator beam?
I was disapointed with the final battle. When I was 11-12, I played this game in Gamecube, and I could defeat Dark Samus in less than 5 minutes. :/
And why u are dissapointed? Whats the matter with the age? Or the 5 Minutes? This Game is perfect for Peopel with this age which u had ^^
you're supposed to beat her in like 5 minutes lmao there's the timer for a reason
The point is this video's player is a huge dumbass and couldn't kill time effectively.
DO U EVEN PRIME 2!?!?
kinda wish the HUD in this game didn't take like 75% of the screen
I think you can decrease its opacity to 0 in options
Quite cringy watching you not using the phazon energy, xD i was like come onnn
men para la proxima se puede absorber las particulas pequeñas que suelta con el cañon oscuro suerte
Sigh, the amount of seething in the comments. Yeah, he doesn't play very well but at least he made right use of limited beams. If you think this boss was annoying on Normal mode, then Hyper was way worse
Hyper still isn't challenging enough
@@gokublack8342 You may be, but your strength is not universal.
Personally, the difficulty of Metroid Dread is easy in my case, but I would never say that it is easy for everyone (except as a joke).
Uhhh why upload a video where u don't actually beat the boss lol
Lol this is not a good reference if someone else forgot how to defeat Dark Samus and looked it up. But i gotta hand it to you, you got Emperor Ing way faster than I did as a kid.
6:40. Shit just got Real.
THis can´t be Hypermode. You die if you play like that.
he did die anyway :)
I wonder how much uglier emperor Ing will look if this game ever gets a HD Remaster.
Oh dear lord...that last dark samus fight your suppose charge beam to collect the phazon she shoots at you then fire it back at her making vulnerable then just unleash all your other weapons while shes stunned. Shes not that hard. Did you really just boss rush her without even trying to understand the mechanics?
But the bad ending says samus does not fighting dark samus
They couldn't even cut the failed dark samus attempt out? LOL
Were you trying to lose on purpose?
Me & Julio Vs The Emperor Of Chaos
You uh… have a nice wii menu there…
Did you seriously record yourself pausing the game and looking up a guide on the obvious way to defeat Dark Samus?
HAHAHA what a bad run, bold to upload it
Here's something interesting whales fighting phase 3 when the boss keeps clamping its mouth shut jump behind it and there's a hole to hit the weak spot from
Great video, but way too many ads.
Nope, this boss-fight has beaten me; I give up.
I have lost my time
holy shit dude, was this your first time? Face-tanking the whole fight lmao wtf
Final inesperado :v
Is monster is hungry and eats
I hate the hitbox of the 3° phase its so bad, so difficult and iconsistant to hit
