Good morning Eng. M Hussian i have one question regarding defining the foundation. after we exported the file from Etabs to Safe, why we didn't define the footing as footing not as slab ? Thanks in advance
@13:45 its giving me (error Creating analysis Model Error number 9 index was outside of bounds of array) Tell me what should I do?... i have followed each and every steps
Great job Mr.... I’ve questions what does it implies when the area of reinforcement become 0 on column or beam? Like your model you’ve got zero value on column... also sometimes I encounter the are of the reinforcement on column is increasing as I go up instead of decreasing. Your help Mr. Thanks in advance
Your issue will be resolved ... if you assign stiif column in footing slab...... We need moment values at the edge of column in footing (basic footing design criteria)
Excuse me sir, i have a question, my etabs can only "export floor loads only" and two another option is "export floor loads and loads from above" and "export floor loads plus column and wall distortions" can not selected, can you give me a solution ?
thank you for the video,i have a question if you don't mind, when i do a 2D analysis of a portal frame with sap2000 it shows me a linear diagram on an element under a distributed load instead of a curved diagram ,could you please tell me what i should do to fix this issue ?
@@civilmdc the joints are fixed and the values are logical the only issue is that the bending moment diagram is linear instead of curved (since the load is distributed) i just made a couple of tests and noticed that this happens only with inclined or vertical elements, the horizontal ones do show a curved diagram.oh and thank you for answering me sir.

1- your joins are fixed or pinned?
2-are you saying, your moments are linear?
