This show (The Next) is about letting the contestants choose one of the singers (there are 4 of them which includes HuaHua and they're all real famous and known in China) to battle against. Since they're contestants vs real singers, the latters have an handicap which is to rearrange in 24h the song that the contestants choose for them (into a new song). And this was during the finals when the contestants could choose a singer to duet with. HuaHua and Juno Su (the girl) dueted again (this time they made a musical rearrangement. It's really good you should check it out because HuaHua is not only singing but dancing and acting too. Seriously, what can this man don't know to do?). There are 2 seasons of this show and in both the singers are the same + guests. So, when after both singer and contestant have sang the audience chooses which one they preferred. And if the contestant wins the singer they can proceed in the show if not, they're eliminated.

Hua Hua was ridiculed a lot for his looks in the earlier years but after he appeared in this show, he attracted slightly more fans in China and quite a lot from Taiwan both because of his great music ability and his humble/down-to-earth and adorable personality.
The last minute or two of that song is as good as you will ever find in a song. I had goosebumps from the beginning of his rap to the end of the song, with Juno's crystal clear voice, then Hua's 16 second note/1 second breath/16 second note, with Juno weaving in and out with that ethereal tone. Mind bogglingly amazing. My second favorite song by him.

That note that he sang is actually two notes. He does take a breath in the middle, but he holds each note for 16 counts, and at that tempo, that's a *long* time. The song was once recorded by Hua Hua's competing mentor, Fei Yu Ching. In the full show of this episode, after Hua Hua and Su Su had finished the performance, Fei Yu Ching's comment was "Why did you have to re-arrange this song? In several interviews, he has been asked about doing more acting in the future, and he has always said that if the right script came along, he would consider it. Its fantastic show. Participants are so relaxed, humourous, covers so creative - expecially thank to Huahua. Actually i think it is the best music show i ve seen. I don't know why it is cancelled after 2 seasons I d suggest to watch not only songs but also dialogues and preparation for songs

If you rewatch "Nunchucks," she was the lady with the short hair with the black and white top in the back. One other interesting fact, this song was the older man standing on the stage's song. He was competing against HC and SS with the young man standing next to him on stage. After this performance he told Hua Hua, "how do you expect me to perform this song anymore when you just did that to my song?" Jokingly, of course. They love each other.

Not only do you have to be quick on the fingers for tickets, you have to reserve hotels months in advance. Going to have to have a connection in China, as we foreigners have less a chance of getting it and access to their site. The Next show is really a fun show to watch with Hua. It really showed a lot of his cute personality and versatility in styles. Btw, she was and is his backup singers at his concerts even before this competition. This put Hua in an uncomfortable position to compete against her. He was gently pursuaded to pick her between another competitor. Then she competed in the Singer 2018 with Hua again. Talk about strange timing. You can see her occasionally at his concerts.
Juno isn't his backup singer. That is another girl who challenged him to rearrange the song My Skateboard Shoes in earlier round. She didn't get further but it's nice they are still friends and working together when he has performances now.

You should try to do a reaction to "My Skateboard Shoes" from Hua Hua from this show (The Next/Sound of War S1). I would recommend trying to find the version where it showed how the contestant was chosen, how Hua Hua was given the song to remake/recompose in 24 hours, then performed on stage. You'll get. Kick out of seeing how cute HC is behind stage as he's working on the song and how he went from a song that was set up for him to fail only to blow the song out of the water with his performance. The original Nanping Evening Bell is really old. Hua's rap was like a vine snaking around Su's powerful singing, which was the tree, but the part right after where they sang the melody after the rap was liked their roles switched - Su's melismatic singing coiled around Hua's 2 x 16 second belted B4. Hua designed the stage and also advised on the dressing of Su. He did the same for Perhaps Love, their second collaboration.

The Next show is really a fun show to watch with Hua. It really showed a lot of his cute personality and versatility in styles.
Btw, she was and is his backup singers at his concerts even before this competition. This put Hua in an uncomfortable position to compete against her. He was gently pursuaded to pick her between another competitor. Then she competed in the Singer 2018 with Hua again. Talk about strange timing. You can see her occasionally at his concerts.
Juno isn't his backup singer. That is another girl who challenged him to rearrange the song My Skateboard Shoes in earlier round. She didn't get further but it's nice they are still friends and working together when he has performances now.

You should try to do a reaction to "My Skateboard Shoes" from Hua Hua from this show (The Next/Sound of War S1). I would recommend trying to find the version where it showed how the contestant was chosen, how Hua Hua was given the song to remake/recompose in 24 hours, then performed on stage. You'll get. Kick out of seeing how cute HC is behind stage as he's working on the song and how he went from a song that was set up for him to fail only to blow the song out of the water with his performance. If I can find it, the eng sub version, that is, I'll post the link for you.
Post the link so more people can see how genious Hua can be and how increadible the show is.

The original Nanping Evening Bell is really old. Like grandma level: ua-cam.com/video/5wlXE9brjO0/v-deo.html It didn''t match the styles and the core spirit of Hua and Su (they are the more explosive types), so Hua rearranged it. Hua's rap was like a vine snaking around Su's powerful singing, which was the tree, but the part right after where they sang the melody after the rap was liked their roles switched - Su's melismatic singing coiled around Hua's 2 x 16 second belted B4. Hua designed the stage and also advised on the dressing of Su. He did the same for Perhaps Love, their second collaboration.
