I believe he gained a lot of new martians from this episodes, and not only from china but also from taiwan, because the original singer is taiwanesse, and the video was kinda boomed in 2014. Hua is my favourit singer.His songs gave me great encouragement.
This was the song that propelled him to stardom in Taiwan. The Taiwanese were astounded by his arrangement and rendition. One contestant from Taiwan even flew to China to challenge him in the show after that. As what the contestant said, " Before you sang this song, you were unknown to me, after this song, even my girlfriend and mum are now besotted by you".

LOL none of the mentors wanted to get this song. All the other mentors are much more senior than him and even they thought that it was impossible to adapt it. Then this song became viral all the way to Taiwan. In Ep7, Hua gets a Taiwanese challenger who came because of Hua's adaptation of My Skateboard Shoes.
Anyway, the scene of the mentors going crazy at the very end over Huahua is hilarious.
