He did a couple of OK movies and that was it.

Chevy's monologue is much better here than the fist few shows. Less nervous.

This is right down there with the Jerry Lewis Show as the worst talk show fails. Can't decide which is worse though.
When Chevy wasn't doing a monologue - or doing things in front of a live audience, he was fine. Many of the segments were funny and creative.
Yeah I'd agree with that. He was terrible at live.
I enojoyed the crap out of this show when it originally aired in the 90's.
Robert Townsend got his own Talk Show around this time. I watched THAT instead.

Carson was his hero, And they were both Jackasses. In fact, Carson's one liners were much WORSE. "Yucka Do. What Forms in your Yucker."
