I love the black gate opens list and the troll chieftain but this is a great battle report for showing the problems of getting the bigger base into combat- he needs to be wrecking face as early as possible but it can be tough to do. Great report and look forward to more of the best gw games system.

Thanks for the comments! Totally agree with the big base, he’s such a scary model in combat but difficult to get around terrain if used well! Luckily for the elves there was a decent amount of terrain on the table

They’re a great army to get into (warriors are plastic unless you want the older sculpts) and the heroes are pretty readily available either in metal or forgeworld resin so you don’t have to deal with finecast!

Nice batrep! The music is mabye a little bit loud and would be nice to see all the combats "live" cause the rolls are the most excited part of the game. But anyway keep up the good work! Allready waiting for more batreps from you lads

Thanks for the feedback! The plan was to record all the hero combats dice rolls and any “important” rolls - in the excitement of the game we missed a few haha! Hopefully we get them all in for future battle reports!

I’m not entirely sure, they are from one of the scenery boxes at the Middlesbrough Games Club, I’ll ask around and see if anyone knows where they came from :)
