Better off getting a complete leveling kit that comes with everything. Sway bar drop bracket,2° caster shims, brake line drop bracket, adjustable trac bar, your axel moves over after installing these blocks. Also need either shock extensions or longer shocks .
Thank you my friend, i was hesitant to do on my 2019 6.7L truck but you made it look easy and your truck looks so much better. I will be ordering the kit today.
Looks good. I have a 2020 and the readylift 2.5 leveling spring kit with billsteins all around coming next week. Going with method 20x9 -12 offset. Really grinding between 35 or 37. Think you convinced me 35 are fine. Do you still have a little rake? Don’t want the 2.5 to leave me nose high
You probably already installed it, but yeah, if you do the Rough Country 2.5" you will end up with a slight Cali lean to the truck. You'll need to throw some bigger blocks in the back. Look up "workplaytv" channel and the guy has to keep 30 to 35 psi in his rear air bags to level it out.
Looks great man. Looking to get this kit for my truck as well... How's it going without adding /replacing the TRACK BAR BRACKET??? The wheel offset changed? Any difference? Thanks Eli.
Question. I am about to buy a truck. I have a 2019 laramie and a 2020 f150 xlt lined up. Similar price, sunroof on the xlt and the 3.5 eco. Laramie is similar to the one you had 5.7 hemi. After your experience which one would you buy? I am upgrading from my current 2009 f150.
Any new mods to the 250? I saw you had the raptor light kit on your old 150. I just ordered the kit for my 2020 250. Any thoughts on installing it on your new 250?
That looks like the perfect height. I've been debating going with this kit but it doesn't come with any other brackets so I was worried it would effect the handling like you said. So it still rides great? I wonder if you could fit 37s under that now? Seems like everyone is going with the Rough Country 2.5" but they end up ignoring the fact that the truck sits nose high (which I can't stand!). I like your wheels and I can see you got the look you wanted. I'm more into filling up that wheel well and keeping the wheels closer to the truck. Still, nice job!
Don’t feel too bad about the cracked windshield , purchased a new F-150 back in 2013 and was going back to the dealer to have some parts installed a rock broke my windshield 5 days from new.
Appreciate the vid; was looking for a simple solution to raise the front of my new truck. Question what is it about the wheels sticking out; I see it, goofy as f ..I own a performance car and brought the truck for towing our Travel Trailer. But don’t know what many see in wheels sticking out of the wheel well?
Many people don't like the look of a tall truck with skinny wheels. I like a little bit of poke so it doesn't look so skinny. Now some of these young guys run 14" wide wheels that stick out 6" past the fender and that looks silly unless you have a monster truck lift.
Not to hate but you usually get what you pay for. In my opinion putting a cheap “leveling “ kit on an expensive truck is pointless. Save the money and get a Carli or something the ride quality is much better.
she's a purdy rig brother! I still drive my '07 Lariat 6.0 (Studded) with only 127k on her. Your wheel and tire info actually helped me out a lot! I had to upgrade from the stock 17" to 18" with 12.5 x 33's and been trying to find the right combination for upgrade to 20's. Shop quoted me $300 to install my 2" leveling kit and they can kiss my A$$! I appreciate the info!
You just couldn’t leave good enough alone could you 🤣 looks good my dude 🤘back in the day on old Jeeps and Superdutys I’ve owned we used hockey pucks as spacers. Just drill a hole grab a new bolt and good to go.
Auto manufacturers spend billions in R&D and hire expensive engineers to design their trucks to ride the best, give the best mileage but we have folks who want to undo all that just to make their trucks 'look' a certain way!!! The only people coming out ahead on this are the aftermarket folks making these stupid leveling kits!!!
Why would a spring adjustment change the alignment, if you did not touch the tie rod ends.
Sway bar does not affect it either?
How bad off was the alignment was it still in tolerance?

Yep, got the 1.5 cause they said I didn’t need anything unless I did 2”. Definitely need the drop bracket cause it will push your wheels out
Just want to say thanks man! This was very helpful in getting me to do my lift. Really appreciate it.
Looks perfect! Silver is the best color with that package! And the leveling kit looks just right.
Thanks man
Did you have to use shock extenders or get new shocks?
Now that u have had this leveling kit on for a while have u had any issues with it?

You need the bracket even with the 1.5

Thank you so much for this video. Your instructions were Spot on, only took an hr or so.
Been doing this stuff for 20 years I've got this kit install down to about 10 minutes 👌
Thats why you are the boss
@@DavidVanVoris question do u think 12:1 compression pistons for a 2017 mustang gt is good
@@DavidVanVoris or stick with stock 11:1 compression

Rafael Ortiz for what
After putting this exact kit in , my front driver side tire is about a half inch out further than the passenger . What did I do wrong ?
Track bar is too short
That jack got you out of breath 😂
Does the truck drive any different since the install?
Can I purchase those stock bolts for that spring perch? I did the same lift on my tremor but want to take it off for a bigger lift.

Thanks! They would rub when turning for sure with 37s
Did the lift affect your steering wheel alignment? I saw that somewhere but haven't see anything more about it.
So how do you keep paint on the sides of these trucks with the tires sticking out past the fenders?
Is there any rake left. I tow a 14k 5th wheel. Worried about the front end of pointing up when loaded. Granted my new truck is an f 350
I really appreciate it you have a good review and I just ordered mine for my f250 👍
Don’t feel too bad about the cracked windshield , purchased a new F-150 back in 2013 and was going back to the dealer to have some parts installed a rock broke my windshield 5 days from new.
Which rims and tires do you have on your truck? Looks great!
Hi, was the rear in need of a lift, or is the rear factory?
Very clean...very subtle. Looks great dude!!
Sick looking truck. That Silver & Black and the perfect Rake, Bad Ass Ride!💪🏼👍😎

Looks BadAZZ! Any update on the leveling kit? Any issues after driving it for a long period of time? I was considering doing it myself.
Still going strong! Rides good
@@DavidVanVoris Nice! appreciate the reply. Just ordered mine last week! 👍
Great color, nice wheels and tires, awesome truck...no arguments!!
What if the truck is stock, would it mess with the geometry a lot? If yes would it be better to get an aftermarket knuckle 1st? Appreciate the video!!
Nope mine was stock
David Van Voris good to know, Thank you!
How did the kit hold up , any issues?
Great running the same on my new 2022
The truck got modded now so that means in 3 months he gonna have a new truck in the driveway LOL !!!!! Looks good David
Exactly!
Better get the brackets to realign the front axle or yall guna have some probs.
Did you need a adjustment bracket
Truck looks great bro. Good video too.
Thanks!
What did you do to get the air dam shorter. Did you just trim it?
Ordered the tremor one
I bought that product and my truck every time it went through a hole felt terrible the blow I spent on the 2.5-inch kit and now it's better
What are the ton of your jack stand ?
What kind of tires are those?
