Have really enjoyed this band since around 2006 when this album dropped. Saw their live performance on a late night show, maybe Conan? I was having a shitty night, couldn't sleep. Heard this on the tv in the background, and was instantly drawn in to his voice, and the atmosphere that song had. If I remember correctly, it was Lazy Eye they played. Bought the album and was just blown away, me and my best bud rocked it for months. Well, 4 years later, my bud passed in 2010 in a tragic car accident. Watching this today made me cry big time. And sometimes that doesn't come so natural to a 35 year old man. RiP Tyler Brill
How does he go from so much loud sound on his guitar to silence in an instant?? When ever I try to play their songs I get too much feed back to cut off right away... but then again I’m kinda bad at guitar so that’s probably why but man
There's some heavy effects going on there. I'm guessing He's got a volume pedal or a kill switch on the floor to cut the signal when he wants to. That or maybe we well dialed in noise gate.

Love them but sometimes I feel like they need to turn up his mic a little bit, when he's not belting it out he almost gets drowned out a bit.
The audio here is nothing to do with the band, it's how the ACL engineer in the truck decided to mix it.
I could go for louder but this works too. It adds to the "longing" vibe and "more than meets the ear" effect.❤
