I had that problem but by changing out the vacum lines that solved the problem. that should be first thing to do before getting a new shutoff valve. :)
hello my friend. i have a question, but first, love your videos. i wish i saw sooner, the one about the 300d (96?) for sale in Eugene Oregon. I am in Springfield (right next). My 96 300d won't start. It was running fine for a long time, but 10 minutes after driving, i tried to start again, and it cranks but there is no fuel coming out of the Injector pump. there is a lot of pressure out of the fuel filter. I used to own a 240d and it seems to me the shut-off valve maybe closed. I cannot believe the injector pump died, but for some reason there is no fuel. so I am thinking there could be some shut-off valve problem. Have you experienced this? I need to pull the intake manifold to see what is between the filter and the inj pump. thanks for any advice.
Dobry dzien. Maaaan. Plastic part is not best choice. metal made by Febi is more better. In my experience - plastic works 1 year, metal 3+ till today. By the way - love your channel. Real euro sense od humor.. keep going. Recentry im doing private wi-fi network instalation. stay tuned!
So I just did this same thing and my shutoff problem got worse, the shutoff lever will depress about three quarters of the way and decrease revs but not to a point where it shuts the engine off. Do you think this could mean there is an issue with the line?
I have a 92 300d and this is my problem manually getting out and piping the hood to turn my car off gets annoying I’ve been researching this all night it’s that simple of a thing Jesus

I have a E250 Diesel(non turbo). I cannot see the vaccum line going to the shut off valve. I will have to remove all that plumbing to have access ? Is it possible to fix vaccum lines wrong ?
Hello. Great channel. I wonder if you could help? I have a C250TD W202 and when I turn off the engine and let it cool it takes a long time to start. When warm it starts ok. I think air may be getting back into the fuel system some how but im not to sure. I have to replace the fuel delivery valve seals as they are leaking, but would that cause it to not start when it's cooled down? Many thanks.
Yes, when air slowly gets in the fuel system while the car sits, it means long cranking…..I had that problem once in past…had to replace all fuel lines O-rings….(1999 E300 TD)

300d wont start in park but if yow put in nretral it start n if hot it start in park
