Well... this seems to be the best official mini console I've ever seen.I really like how you can just play in the system itself without needing to plug to TV, while also having that option if you want to.
Did SNK ever release black cabinets in the US, or is it just a bad call on their part? I believe a single, multi-language version would have been more than enough, especially if the black one never existed. Here in Europe, they were just like their Japanese counterparts, that is red with coloured buttons. Heck, it wasn't rare at all to even spot Japanese versions of the games in bars and arcades.

Finally discovered use of the HDMI mini. I have an HDMI Mini adapter and I will use it with my Neo Geo Mini once I get it at the end of August. Really want to get my hands on it as well as the controllers.
Awesome Console 10 out of 10. I also bought it with Neo-Geo Mini Controllers it makes it even better and then plug it into a big screen TV using HDMI and THAT MAKES IT AWESOME with 40 MAGIC GAMES. mamoun benkhaldoun why on earth would they do that? Their perfectly fine the way they do it themselves. The only thing i could think of is having arcsys maybe do the graphics, but keep them away from developing it. The way they design their games id very different and very much their own style. It wouldn't make much sense. Not every fighting game needs to be made ny arcsys. SNK has always done quality games. Sure kof14 doesn't have the prettiest graphics, but holy hell is it fun.

ExBenzi2 Good luck with that. Neo Geo AES’s are pretty damn expensive online. (They usually go up to 700$) So in other words, buying one of these would be a lot cheaper. (If SNK decides to release this in the West of course)
Sonic Sez Traps are Gay Uhm, maybe I didn‘t explain myself very well: I do actually posess a NeoGeo AES (yes they are very expensive & rare to come by... especially my PAL-version). I meant that I‘d buy a NeoGeo mini in a flash, despite the fact that I already have an AES. That way I don‘t have to sell my organs for games anymore, hehe.

I'm quite surprised tho, cuz it was cheaper than I remember: Back in 2014 I paid 304 Swiss Francs for mine (the USD and Swiss Franc had more or less the same value at that time). Corrected for inflation thats aprox 325$ in today's money. I bought my one from an online auctioneer here in Switzerland (ricardo.ch, kinda similiar to eBay.com) from a chap in Lausanne. It was bundled with two games, namely "Spinmaster" and "Three Count Bout". Unfortunately, only the latter has its box. My Neo Geo came originally from a toy shop in Paris, France. Its in very good condition, has its original box and all of the original "paperwork" is still in there too. Haven't taken it out for a while tho. If you have any further question, feel free to pick up this conversation again ;).

A good selection of games(not mostly rehashed) especially ssVspecial(nice). The aesthetics are all around good, though I miss the original japanese red/white cabinet aesthetics of the mvs & for this fact the new design would blend in more with the surroundings. I have one of those neogeo controllers it is for the ps1/ps2 though, an excellent controller choice indeed. It seems this product is well though out.
I was hoping this trailer would show ofc whether or not you could use other USB Controllers instead of the pack in. I want to know if I can just use one of my Playstation or Xbox Pads instead.
Imagine SNK to make this into a Switch like handheld device/console, it would be even more awesome ( considering people nowadays play a lot of games on their mobile phone).
I'm kinda skeptical about this mini system, until I saw this video, I mean all the videos I watched was about the Neo Geo Mini someone tearing it apart and first looks about the machine but this video even shows its controllers and she said all of the Metal Slug and I believe the 2D king of fighteres are included in the system, the controller looks really good too.
