Blue Marlin on 50 Class Stand-up Gear Guatemala Lobo Sportfishing GoProHD

Blue Marlin caught off the Pacific Coast of Guatemala on May 18th 2014. Estimated to be between 300-350lbs, this fish fought for a good hour! Caught by Carlos Lobo off of the SUR REEL a 31' Bertram from Big Buoy Sportfishing Lodge! The fish took the shotgun lure which was a Typhoon with Pelagic Candy color combo by LoboSportfishing.com. Captain Eric Goetz and Mate Pedro Worked diligently to get the fish to the boat un harmed. Famous Captain Eddie Bairez of the CIRCLE HOOK was aboard and assisted in landing this fish. This trip was amazing as we almost lost this fish when it dove under the boat and prop wrapped itself. Eddie and Pedro were did the unthinkable! We hope you enjoy this video!
