I'm the Tech Director at an old SBC church in Tupelo, MS that is very similar to FBC Brunswick. As someone who is always trying to more effectively integrate new tech at a church that isn't doing the "contemporary black box" church model, this video was incredibly helpful! Not that there is anything wrong with black box churches! It's just really cool to see the tech from a church that reminds me a lot of the one I'm in every Sunday. Thanks for this video!
I would love to direct in that room. Having people that care helps a lot. I'm the guy they notices stuff and I always get pushback when I mention cables on the floor that get ran over with rolling chairs, garbage in the floor, old parts/gear we haven't used in 5+ years, etc.
Hey I’m currently one of they guys that run the video audio at my church. We are in need of some new cameras but honestly idk how to figure out what we need. We’re also on a budget so being cost friendly would be nice 👌🏾. Two main cameras and an overhead cam as well is what we’re looking for atm.
Yeah! If you’re looking for the best bang-for-buck, the Panasonic G7 is a great option. Currently making a video about this camera. This would also be a great place to start: www.churchmediatraining.com/guide After that if you still want some help weighing the options, feel free to schedule a call with me! calendly.com/churchmediatraining/strategy-call
Just an FYI it's a year waiting list on Dante cards for any console Allen & Heath. I have 3 Avantis. I probably won't get my cards until June or July, been waiting since August 22'.
I’d love to know more about how they are outputting a constant preservice slide loop on front screens from ProPresenter while using or editing other slides. We are updating to an M/E 1 4K switcher and Mac Studio with decklink duo 2 and was intrigued by that piece to help us be more efficient
My understanding is there's an audience screen dedicated to this loop, that's being sent out a decklink video ouput and since 1 of their M/Es is being sent to the projectors, they just cut to that loop on the switcher.

Yeah for sure! It's a great blend of more historic architecture with modern tech
I really dig the keyboard on a standing desk!
My favorite production director🥰🥰
I already know this video is going to be fire!
It was a blast to film and edit 🙌🏼
Question!! Do they ever turn off there equipment??? From seeing their next online service 17:30 hours!!
What a setup?? How much was the whole thing??
How are all their areas so clean though!?
The question I really should’ve been asking 🤦🏼♂️
You should see the setup now. This was recorded like 3 months ago.
@@colbygriner1204 you mean it's cleaner now or it's back to reality? :)
@@RylandRussell somehow it’s even more immaculate that it was before 🥲
