My guy, it's been years now that u can load up the power button on Samsung phones with different commands.camera,flashlight, and different apps.
Action button doesn't just open the camera, it acts like a shutter once opened. You can also use it with shortcuts where it does a different action based on phone orientation, location, focus mode etc.
I swapped iphone for Samsung and I am over the moon. The best decision I ever made.
I just got my s24 Ultra. I still have my iPhone 15 pro max for a couple days in case I change my mind. But so far... this s24 Ultra is really nice.

Been an iphone user for about 10 years and switched to samsung just yesterday. Got s24 ultra. Im blown away using this device. never thought a smart phone could do this much. Its a complete package. So why get anything else. S24 ultra is clear winner here.
When it comes to cameras, I believe it just depends on what you’re doing. If you’re just point and shoot, with confidence the iPhone wins those hands down. However, if you’re in to Vlogging, directors view on the Samsung is one hell of a feature, and I used that on family vacations which was very fun to play around with. I own both S22 Ultra and iPhone 13PM, and for photos and Vlogs, Samsung is better, but for general videos and capturing moving subject, the iPhone takes it. It’s a tie, as Samsung wins on versatility, but iPhone wins on consistency!

On ecosystems, apple doesn't make TV's. Samsung does, along with washers and dryers. Refrigerators ovens, microwaves, coffee makers, robot vacuums, and just about any appliance for the home. The list goes on and on. They have the largest ecosystem in the world. Apple can't touch it.

Ppls here in Norway where i live cant even get the S24ULTRA sold for even 12500 NOK, like NOBODY gives bid or want to buy the phone for even that amount of money.
i have a friend here that just switched from S24ULTRA to 15promax, he paid 18000 NOK here for the phone, and he has it out for 12000NOK for sale, and no bid nothing haha.

If you need a button that can open up your camera quick on samsung you can just double click the power button even when the phone is locked, and its an old feature
But for iPhone, do you still need to use that horrid iTunes program to access 6 files on iPhone via pc?

I feel like i get more out of my Motorola Edge+2022. Tactile fingerprint on the side to unlock the phone instantly, tapping the back of the phone to open any assigned app, shake phone to open camera, 144 refresh rate screen. It doesn't have a snapdragon but for my use its more than enough

The resale argument isn't as straightforward as you may think. I have lost more money on IPhones, having payed full retail price for them, by comparison to having had some great deals from samsung , paying far less than full retail, come resale time the loss on both is comparable
nope! I buy my iPhone’s at full price and have gotten 85-90% of the value after a year of usage. You just don’t know how to sell your devices or take care of them.I sold my 14 pro max to buy the 15 pro max for $1050 a device I paid about $1,170 for.

been an avid samsung user for many many years. My current android phone is s23 ultra, and i jjst got the i
15pro as a 2nd phone, and i must say, i quite like it. The smoothness and fluidity is noticeable instantly. While the iphone does do some stuff i dont like, alround its a pretty nice device. It also llays extremely well with other iPhones, which theres millions of, literally.

I have both (but long term galaxy ultra user) and I've not been impressed at all with app stability in comparison. They're equally as buggy with the main apps in my experience.

I decided long ago to never make a desion of either/or, I always have both with SIM.
We live in great tech times when one could go either route and still have a great experience.
One area not often mentioned is security. I personally feel more comfortable and safe with my financial and personal data inside of Apple's walled garden than i do with Samsung. Both offer good protection, but Apple takes it a step further.

They've been able to program the power button to do anything. They wanted, this guy needs to do a little more research before making this type video.
@TerrenRule 1:28 into your video you comment that the Samsung 24 Ultra doesn't have biometric Face ID option and you have to use your fingerprint. This is INCORRECT!!!! Samsung has had Iris scanner and a biometric Face ID scan for years. Probably just as long as iPhone. Another point was at 1:14 you were SURPRISED that the quick action button for say taking photos on a Samsung hadn't been done yet!!!!! This could be no further from the truth. Samsung was first to do THIS YEAR'S AGO. Just double tap the power button and the Camera immediately turns on. That's pre-loaded on ever Samsung phone, or you can also go to setting and change the action to any other app you want to pull up. These were blaring mistakes made on things Samsung and or Android brought to the market either FIRST or MANY MANY YEARS AGO.
I was going to get the Pro Max just for the Log capability alone. I ended up with the S24 Ultra instead since Samsung provides a much better trade-in value compared to Apple devices where I live. Also there's 3rd party camera apps on Android that provide the option to shoot in uncompressed formats and a flat color profile.

The other reason why Samsung phones lose value way faster is because they are always going on sale. This is great if you are willing to wait 6 months to get the latest Samsung phone on sale but if you want to buy it when it's brand new then you have to accept the fact that you will lose 50% of it's value in the first 12 months.
s24u is a far superior phone it feels like it's a futuristic phone the screen is so nice, but if you are tied up with the iphone ecosystem then its not for you
I have the s22+ I've been debating for months whether to stick with the plus model or go for the ultra, I've wanted an ultra for a while, but I always bailed out of buying one..

Dude Samsung phones have had their own version of the "action button" for years now. You can choose to launch any and every app using the power button and also double click it to open the camera at any time. So it actually was an Android thing originally, you just havent done all of your research lol by the way the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has 2,600 nits of peak brightness, not 2,500.
Agreed. It's weird how how many things people will point out as a great new feature with Apple, and not know that Samsung has been doing that for 10 years. This video was really good, but that part lost credibility in my opinion. He easily could have done a search and found out the answer to that in less than a minute.

My boss has the 24 ultra and I have the 15 promax, I consistently outlast him by the end of the workday… so no, it’s not a tie lol I took my phone off the charger at 5:20 AM this morning and it’s currently 11:19 PM, I still have 37% left with over seven hours of screen on time.

What I look for is what watch the reviewer is wearing. Many times they're reviewing an Android phone but wearing an Apple Watch. That tells me all I need to know about what their main phone is.

Still photos: Samsung. Sorry, but there's sooooo much you can do with this little camera. It has an ND filter that works quite well. It gives you the choice of Samsung HDR Pro (Expert Raw,) or a standard Pro mode. I shoot with mostly Pro mode, because I used to shoot professionally, and I know how to edit them the right way.
Video: Hands down iPhone. There's not a lot of competition yet with the power unlocked using your skills and the offerings of the 15 Pro Max. Samsung is catching up, but slowly.

@@josh3326iPhone is better for pics and video, I have both the s24U and the 15PM and the Samsung is quite dismal a lot of the time when it comes to taking decent pics. It’s actually pretty well documented that the iPhone cameras are quite a bit better in real life use.

The ''action'' button, Apple has effectively copied it from Android manufacturers like LG, Samsung and others, but thanks to its GoodLock app, Samsung allows you to have multiple ''action'' buttons.
No, the iPhones 15 Pro are not the 1st smartphones to shoot in LOG, so they are not the only ones to do so, many Android smartphones have been able to do so for at least 3-4 years.
And no, the iPhone is not better than the S24 Ultra in photo-video, in photography it is clearly not better, and in video, I can't understand how people can find that a device (iPhone) that gives everyone orange skin tones, is a great device for video 🤷🏽♂️
When it comes to applications and the ecosystem, it completely depends on the needs of each person, neither is better than the other.
