He had a recording career spanning from 1966 - 1993 and released ca 60 albums. It’s easy to find lyrics and a lot of backround info on Google, and Wikipedia. Good luck!👍
I´m born -64 and been following you for a wile. you are getting so much more of what Zappa is about then many other reaktors..details that me as a freak get realy impressed of you notising. puss på dig slyngel!!
"She said she was a Magic Mama, And she could throw a mean Tarot" good pick, be careful, at the rate you're doing Zappa reactions you could be thru the good stuff in three or four years. Frank's first album "Freak Out" Came out in 66, he wrote stuff for other people before that and wrote the music for two movies (The World's Greatest Sinner and Run Home Slow). He was also in bands starting in high school in the fifties. For a side of Frank you wouldn't have thought existed, react to his song "Anything" (It's a short song). Thanx Austin, great Reaction, keep it up (the reactions)
Zappa was very in tune and hung out with the Mexican American's of 60's L.A. Camarillo is a city in the greater Los Angeles area. Someone's getting laid in this song. That's about it.
1. I think of this as one of his more uncharacteristically simple and accessible tracks - if they weren't hypersensitive about the lyrics it could have been played on the UK's infamous Radio 2. 2. Are you referring to the clip of his last major TV interview - the "I don't care if I'm remembered" one - or his very last snippet of interview footage, the one where he really looks and sounds unwell, whilst talking about Nikolas Slonimsky? 3. For the record, Frank somehow managed a Top 10 hit album in America with Apostrophe (1974), a Top 10 hit album in Britain with Hot Rats (1970), a Number 1 hit single in Norway and Germany (in both cases it was Bobby Brown Goes Down!)...and he played Wembley several times. And technically he did play Madison Square Garden - just not the arena (instead he was in that relatively small theatre on the site, then known as the Felt Forum). 4. Here's a reaction suggestion - follow this link ua-cam.com/video/UD5y5SbQaos/v-deo.html - it should take you directly to the medley based around The Torture Never Stops, and this is the version where they're changing the lyrics to refer to Marqueson's humiliation at "the raffle" (which is just what you think it is!)
This was Zappa's relatively straightforward pop phase, good but not his best. If you go back to his earlier albums, you'll see what a masterful composer he was.
I can respect the talent even if I dont really like the product. Yeah no 12 year old should really listen to Frank Zappa ... it's definitely not a PG product.
@@Austinreactss Don't even look into it. Zappa did not take himself seriously at all. Though his skillset was unmatched for it's time. Zappa is far from pretentious.
She carried on without a comma... Best line ever
Drumming is amazing on this
The astonishing Ralph Humphrey.
The drums on this song are incredible

Hi Austin, really liked this video. You got me a bit emotional with the end speech :)
Frank wrote music long
before the 70s

Hi... FRANK ZAPPA ACTUALLY began releasing music in the 60s with the Mother's of Invention...
Zappa was very in tune and hung out with the Mexican American's of 60's L.A.
Camarillo is a city in the greater Los Angeles area. Someone's getting laid in this song. That's about it.

Ah, the slow-dance version, muaha.
Nice job Austin
Thanks boss

What a nonsense and he is said to have been a recognized composer? Hahahaha

Huh lol
So verrarscht man die menschheit, hahahaha, hahahaha 😂 wad für ein Blödsinn
Ugh Zappa,, the 1st pretentious Rocker.
Yes, difficult to play, and listen to.
@Dan T of the Gen X Family - If you don't like Zappa, why are you here?
Oh I thought he was complimenting him lol I don't know what pretentious means lol
@Zolar Czakl - Yes, great to be first, even though that is an incredibly inaccurate statement.
Sorry Dan, you're the problem, not Zappa!
