Thanks so much for demonstrating this! - it was very helpful to me as I learned how to do this for multiple instruments, including a MainStage keyboard player ✌🏼
hi man great vid. theres any option to connect two different Macs ? one running Logic Pro with the backing tracks & tempo and the second one is for the keyboardist who is using MainStage for virtual instruments.
Hey man, do u by any chance know of an older video, by urself or someone else, that explains the same thing in an older version of Logic? Like u said, they've updated how they do things and i'm kinda stuck with this outdated version of Logic, for now anyways. Any feedback would be mighty helpful, cheers.
Well - the same patches that MainStage uses can be loaded in Logic, we recommend exporting the patch from MainStage and loading it in Logic to record, then you can edit the MIDI in post or edit it.

Wow, GREAT VIDEO! The best I found. Thank you so much for sharing.
No problem 🫶
Thanks for the video!
If you don't sync the tempo, does it cause mainstage and logic to give that glitchy sound?
great!

We did an older version of this video in 2020, maybe it will work for your version of Logic! ua-cam.com/video/c8iYFWcYPVM/v-deo.html

How about using more than 127 patches...?
