Danny and my brother were the best of friends for many years as my brother was also in recovery...He was one of the main speakers at my brothers celebration of life which was a Native American ceremony...He is funny, kind, blunt, giving, honest, loving, loves to fish and no he’s not scary at all...I have a whole photo album of him and my brother deep sea fishing in Mexico that I will cherish always...He is a truly good man!!!

He "wears" his grit, humor and just down right intrepid nature, in any role he plays (from Machete to playing the hilarious vampire on Dusk to Dawn making a cameo on What We Do in the Shadows), on his sleeve! This man is credited for over 300+ movies, that’s insane. He gives so much of his time to help others, such a good hearted person. I would definitely love to met him

Desperado was such a unique ground breaking mind blowing movie Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Quentin Tarantino, Cheech Marin, Steve Buscemi A list actors, non stop action, awesome soundtrack, it had everything. Danny Trejo as the knife throwing assassin was the absolute stand out. It is a face and a performance you never ever forget. And then to find out he is the nicest kindest gentleman you could ever hope to know, that's the cherry on the cake. Long live Danny Trejo! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've loved this guy's stuff since I was a kid in the 90's. Danny can and has played everyone and everything from every walk of life because he knows what it's like on the other side and he beat the badguy in the mirror. He's really a great human being and so many people should take notes from him. I know I'm a minority, but if there's one character in his roster that I think is representative of the real him, it's probably Raul Tejada from Fallout New Vegas.
