Need to start prepping motors for storage when no idea how long sitting.
Rust kills cylinders, rings and some valve seats depending on material.
Gotta back those valve springs off too, if not doing off camera.
More work but will save HP & $ in the end!

I ran a high 13 I believe fast time was in the 12's but it goes to show that suspension and gears make a huge difference, This raggedy car I brought has a 604 in it, Slightly modified but only makes around 480 HP,

I think the secret to winning dirt track is to keep your foot on the gas longer than the other drivers. For the most part, all the cars are equal. The drivers who are in front are the ones that can keep the foot on the throttle the longest.
Going fast isn't always about mashing the throttle!

First video I come back to and y’all got a clements motor! W to Spartanburg and HTF.
It's probably me being a believer that JB is our pres, but as a sane (manydissagree) retired racer, was there only 1 time we saw the LF suspension compared to multiple RF's lol. I would surely want HTF to be testing or running the next speed secret from Longhorn. Not putting down Capitol because you have shown that you are fast in both. Been watching since it was just the 56 in his garage alone with Jess. And Jess was so excited to run a SS i believe with Bo era . Haven't always agreed with Jonathan from the start but always been a firm believer in just because i did certain things a different way, or vise vs doesn't mean that it should work the other way.
Proud of HTF , including past, present crew, sponsors and all the families that also think racing is the most important lol. Sponsors haven't left, some make it easier now for them to get up and down the road, and with reliable, great equipment so if any viewers can help with thier own purposes they deserve your money. Im done flapping lol

_I used to be the pop rivet King when I used to build trailers and repair them so all your in closed Hallmart type trailers are sheet metal sides and tops are all pop riveted in Obviously but it always makes me think about my 20s when I was learning to weld stk mig and tig and we had a good tigg gun it lays the best beeds on Stuff like Engine blowers and aluminum headss etc etc I come from a race family where my great uncles and my grandpa and my best friends dad all run limiteds and street stocks here in NC Mike skinner used too winn anytime he showed up here at Caraway Speedway so i had alot of Family turning laps all summer on fri and Saturdays Nights lol I just figured I would mention it_

For everyone’s information Clement’s racing engines is in the same town as Noonan race engineering so one Down has a late model engine builder and a 3000 hp drag racing motor

If super late models had proper bumpers, pierce wouldn't have as many slide jobs.
