Like the guy above said, "even arm chair racers can tell if a car moves forward or backwards". Can you think of a start or a re-start when JJ didn't lose 2-3 spots in the 1st 2 laps? I can't think of one either.
There are numerous guys on this page that has experience in the world of dirt late models. (like me) What sounds to you as negativity is in fact the 100% truth. There are two things that I can say about Joseph Joiner has hit his ceiling on his setup knowledge And when we're talking about crew chief HTF can't afford 100K salary a year.
Brand new engines are tight.. everything is snappy.. holding traction with your tried and true setups would be a consideration.. I remember you said Clements was able to get you a few more horses on top of that.. don't take much to throw a driver off his game with a familiar track.. and a comfortable ride.. Now he gotta learn a whole new way to feather out that torque on takeoff hahaha Great effort fellas.. It was a great Season too.. Epic.. Looking forward to next season.. Outstanding. The Sponsors should be VERY pleased.. everybody been watching you guys all season.. you scared the right people HAHAHA Few more runs on that car under load and them bearings will all loosen up.. it will rap out quicker.. and that torque will be amplified.. expect that.. and Joey will have that hammer figured out.. nobody will be able to catch him.. I hope for their sake you are right. I've been where these guys are. Alot of local success, good runs against the Outlaws - "maybe we have something here" - Then the hard times set in, frustration took off, fun meter went to zero - owner sold everything and quit. I hope they don't go down that road. IT SUCKS
While that maybe a good idea I just don't see it happening, it takes time to build up a good book of setups. Give me another 2 seasons and then let's see what going on.

Or send the driver to a performance clinic and stop being anal about why he can’t drive. He needs to mash the damn pedal and learn baby learn. That’s where they’re falling short.
Turn off all other devices - phones etc, see if that helps. See if you can move the modem closer to TV. If none of that helps, you might try a signal booster. If that doesn't help, call your internet provider, that might be able to test your net connection.

Actually, there are some resources that can utilized from Longhorn and their partners that I'm pretty sure they're not taking advantage of. Former Jonathan Davenport crew guy ( co crew chief) Vinny Guliani: VG Performance is working with all Longhorn customers. And spending a day at Longhorn with Steve Arpin would also help.
That track was an absolute nightmare for every driver!! You did an excellent job staying in and was able to finish. Better luck next race. That Clemmons engine looks wicked fast.
The track was recently replated with a layer of fresh clay which takes a few races to settle. Whynot held the world record for fastest quarter mile dirt for many years.
Yeah, the track sure had some character in it. Way to hang tough though JoJo !! I was in turn 2 tailgatin it & showin out Lol Let's go !! Sure had a blast.
Keep working on it boys you've come this far, and you will get better! Just gotta get some lateral grip in it.....cars have no bite and just slide across the center and it's been like that forever but they will figure it out and when they do.......watch out!
That track was a piece of sh|£ Wow that’s just terrible. Good job keeping it together. Make sure you inspect those shocks inside and out. Perform a compression and rebound test on the shocks, after that rough son of a gun wow.

You cannot drag the grinder back & forth across the contact patch of the tire! The grinder rotates clockwise, to make a proper drive edge, you gotta go from side to side. The left side tires require the blocks to be sharpened to the front inside, while right side tires require the blocks to be sharpened to the front outside of the contact patch. I'm just trying to help y'all from repeating those mistakes...btw

All I got to say is Joseph better step up. They have equipment now that can compete with the best so no more excuses. I’m skeptical at best, I think there are more talented drivers at my local track. Having good equipment and finding speed on the track are totally different, where Joseph fails is finding the speed outside of the normal groove.

@vernsimmons945 no one else is dumb enough to restrict their engines. They are the only ones in the entire racing world that I know of that are constantly looking for ways to slow down their car. Every winner that I know of is constantly searching for every little advantage to make their cars go faster. That probably explains why they are always losing! It's impossible to win by going slower that the next guy!

Everyone restricts their motor in those track conditions I was watching Friday qualifying the top 604 qualifier in Group B would’ve qualified fourth in the super Group B you really think that track was going to take 900 hp no you restrict it to give you more sensitivity in the pedal
Terrible track conditions huge ruts, and hard as a rock. Nice job Joseph. You will get used to that new car sooner than later. Don’t change the car so much from qualifying and the heat races. Not in this race but the past few races I think you all have made to many changes and made the car slower rather faster. Just something to think about subtle changes can make huge difference. Also change the gear instead of other things to adjust to a slower slicker track. JMO everybody has one. Not hating on you all just trying to figure out why you qualify so well, win the heat races and then go backwards in the feature. #HTFnation4life
I think it’s time that Joseph quits being a bottom feeder when his car does so good on the top but I know everyone thinks that the bottom is the quickest way around and probably is if you got a car that will work on the bottom but if it don’t then you gotta go somewhere else just saying

I think it’s time that Joseph quits being a bottom feeder when his car does so good on the top but I know everyone thinks that the bottom is the quickest way around and probably is if you got a car that will work on the bottom but if it don’t then you gotta go somewhere else just saying
