Wow I don't typically give thumbs up. I might comment on a few more videos but I typically save the thumbs up for them semi-precious gems that I find. With you I think I'm finding high grade diamonds. I'll have to do my own testing to be sure but your videos look like diamonds to me.

@@juancolindres8399 I like plecos with shrimp. That's a great combo! I think the substrates are wonderful or the florin multi fertilizer to cover micronutrients and potassium.

Hi Bentley! I am a new shrimp keeper (fish keeper over 4o years). I just got some blue dreams and bloody mary shrimp (both are culls from the colonies) and their color can definitely be bumped up. I will definitely get the Vitamarin-F to help with that. Thank you for the testing and the opinions on the products!
Awesome! I just turned on to those guys at Brightwell myself. Bringing in CRS, Ultra Golds and a boatload of Dark Green Jades to go with my blue dreams and fire reds. My first go round with caridinas. I was debating the vitamin line but I think you made up my mind. Great video. If you need any Green Jades I know a guy! I would love to get my hands on a bunch of their goodies as I launch my voyage in to CRS for the first time.
chubby guppy I'm just wondering if you found any luck with that vitamin supplement and possibly the shrimp code did it brighten up the shrimp? and Bentley have you had continued good luck with it. do you have a video about the shrimp code I can't find it if you do? thanks to both of you

Thank you for the great info. So, Brightwell's Shrimp Vitamarin-F does not increase/decrease GH, KH or PH etc? Meaning water parameter? I have never use it but for shrimp, I am using Shrimp Fit and shrimps are doing great. I want to try this Vitamin F thing too if water condition would not change.
No, they have a different product for increasing those parameters. This is basically purely a vitamin supplement, it's the easiest way to think about it.

great video! I am skeptical of this product, but intrigued. As I've tried some shrimp juice from the aqualex line for a year with 0 improvements on my 26 shrimp tanks, with tons of claim of success by others and my wallet being thinner after using them. But I do notice one of my extreme blue bolts tanks not doing as hot as the others, so I'm going to give it a try as I found my local reef shop carrying the product. So i really hope it does turn them around, but thx for the great content and new sub here!
Let me know what you think. I'm certainly not as versed in shrimp as someone doing 26 tanks worth, but I saw improvement in mine using it.

So basically you let the shrimp food marinade in the vitamin f juice? Or do you pump some in the tank like it it was liquid fertilizer?

Not yet! I need to. It's good, well honestly the whole Brightwell line is pretty awesome.
This sounds good, good 3 berried painted fire reds and want the shrimplets to have the best chance at growing great. But I wonder, do I still need it if I feed Shrimp King + have locally hard tap water?
You might not, hard water is usually minerals and might not have the vitamin content. Shrimp king does have good vitamin content, but for babies sometimes having it in the water column helps

I think shrimp are one of God's coolest little creatures and the reds and blues are really beautiful. If I ever do get into shrimp I'll remember this video :)
I’ve only ever had 5 shrimp and they died since I didn’t realize my frog food had copper in it. I’m wanting to add some into my 55 gal tank or either start a shrimp and snail only tank. Should I use the Vitamin F or their Trace elements bottle. Or is it really worth it to buy both? The shrimp and snail were my favorite.
I would look into a good buffer for shrimp depending on your water. If you have naturally harder water, Vitamarin F is great
Can't find a supplier in Canada. Thats unfortunate. Really wanted to try it.

Regular use of bacter ae and then supplements of shrimp king food (variety pack) and zoo med banquet blocks
@@BentleyPascoe thanks. I use a small dose of bacter ae every week or so, am trying Pure Nordic food, as tried shrimp king before. Hopefully the brightwell, will improve my cull tank. Excited to see if they turn blue,or more wild type
Would like to try this but am a bit confused about one thing. Went to the Btightwell site and Amazon to make sure I order the right item.On Amazon it's looking like it's the multi florin.Is this the vitamin F you are speaking about?The bottles have different labels. The one bently is holding has a red/orange shrimp on it and the one on Amazon and the Brightwell site has a black and white shrimp on it.Would appreciate some feedback on this if anyone has some answers to this.
VitaMarin F is what you want. Florin Multi is the fertilizer.
David I noticed that too I think it's linked wrong on Amazon when I hit vitamin f the fertilizer would come up. not sure if they corrected it or not yet that's been a year probably they have

Do you know if there a difference between Brightwells Vitimarn F and the Shrimp Vitimarn F besides the label. I cannot find the product locally and the only place I can find Brightwell products is Amazon. Problem is the large size container on Amazon is overkill for me. I cannot email their support from their website dor some reason.
The non-shrimp version is designed only to be used as a food additive and not added directly to water column. Shrimp version can dose the water column. Cheers!
The substrate from brightwell aquatics is the bomb so happy with it. Big fan of it.
