is it possible to share specific open window application and not the entire desktop?
Example i have an open microsoft office open in full screen background and want to share it over ndi?

Is it best to use Screen Capture and Screen Capture HX together if I still want to send the webcam and audio, but utilize the HX for my display capture?
Just upgraded and Screen capture HX does not show as a NDI source but regular Screen capture works and shows as NDI source
Good day! I haven't been able to use screen capture since I switched gpu nvidia to AMD is there some sort of compatibility issue for amd gpu's?. I'm using ndi on to stream and I'm on 2 pc set up. it captures my gaming pc but can't access scan converter through system tray to set up my audio. please help.
Whenever I try to look at the screen capture source from another PC on the same network, I see a black screen. If I enable KVM control I can actually control the remote PC but I do not see the desktop output. Anyone else experience this issue?
What Firewall setup do i need for it to work? And how do i specify, in which network im streaming if im connected to multiple?
Do you have any tutorials on how to use NDI screen capture to get the zoom meeting to ECAMM/OBS? all I get is a white screen and haven't been able to figure it out

Is there any way to chose a custom resolution instead of having 720,1080,1440 etc ? That way when we send the NDI signal to the pc doing the encoding and transfer we can lower the encoding task so there is no rescale calculation as the signal is transferred and uploaded directly, no need for the streaming pc to do any scaling work
Can you save the setting in screen capture? Every time i load my NDI laptop with a webcam i have to add it as a source every time.?

Hi I have multiple computers connected using NDI screen capture. Currently having problems with one of them that wen I try to called in OBS is giving me a black screen. I see the source but no content That particular computer is not shooing in vMix ether. Any fix? Please help... Thanks

I know next to nothing about screen casting etc I am setting up an new PXE Gaming Cafe and they want to be able to live stream the game play from maybe half of or all of the machines I see that this would be possible with NDI Tools but looking at this TriCaster stuff is confusing on their website we are not wanting any hardware just wanna do it completely software wise is TriCaster avabile on it own because i cannot find it if it is the end goal is to output to obs/streamlabs or where ever we can stream to

This video would be so much more useful if this guy would explain more about the network the computer and tricaster need to be on for this to work. Do I need a gigabit switch? Can I just connect my laptop directly to my tricaster computer? Cmon newtek help me out here!
yes. use a gigabit switch for best results.
@@NewTekInc great gigbit of course better but how about 10/100 switch would that even work at all? ALSO i was able to connect my computer to my tricaster.. the tricaster found the signals but when i switch to them all i got was black... what am i doing wrong?
@@DulceCreativeStudios when using a 10/100 switch using NDI HX would be better, when using full NDI you can maybe get 2 or 3 streams of 1080. As far as getting the signals into the TriCaster and receiving black this may be a firewall issue. if they don't show up even in the preview of the inputs, exit to windows and disable all firewalls. If you are still having issues after that I would recommend contacting support who are best suited to help :)
Sadly i cant rid of video stutter in OBS with Screencapture 😓

You need set a limit for FPS on menu games. Ilimited fps = stutter in obs with screencapture

Cant get it work with laptop (has nvidia gpu)
same. my laptop is not getting picked up as an NDI source on my network. NDI Screen cap works on the laptop. i get the little popup that tells me it's now available as an NDI source but I can't view that source from any of my studio monitors on other machines. any idea what the problem is?
@@ATH42069 i found out that the problem with laptops is the intel gpu + nvidia gpu. You have to change nvidia gpu to the ndi tools.
@@Luckypekka I see I see. what if my laptop is a Lattitude E6 dinosaur and it doensn't have an NVIDIA gpu?
