Whether you need to capture a PowerPoint presentation, a software demonstration, or even high frame rate video gaming content, NDI® Screen Capture offers a solution. Using the NDI® Screen Capture application you can send video over the network, and access the video from any computer on your network. NDI® Screen Capture also supports connected webcams without the need for a capture device. This allows you to send a dual NDI® video stream with a screen capture and webcam together in one discoverable group of NDI® sources. Video captured by NDI® Screen Capture can be used by hardware or software video systems for streaming or recording. I have a visual issue that makes it tough for me to keep up witha chat at on a spearate monitor and keep direct focus. In short an accident messed up my peripharal vision, or above a specific horizon line for my view. I'm just not seeing where I can snag a specific program, but have an app with chat that I on't broadcast.
Hi. I have a question about NDI and how I can use NDI screen monitor (capture) as inputs into Vmix - I'm hoping someone can help with this conundrum...
I'm in the process of building a custom AV desk.
I'm planning in the first build to be running a basic (smaller) NUC and a NUC extreme - Vmix will run on the extreme.
I want to be able to output at least 4, possibly 6 additional HDMI outputs from either the extreme or the other NUC (via external USB video adapters if necessary), so that I can run a range of separate apps that can then all be brought into vmix as inputs for multiviews and various layers.
I want to be able to output both the base PPT program window, the PPT presenter view, the PPT output screen, an instant messaging app, zoom, possibly a word window, possibly PTZ camera inputs, possibly after effects for lower thirds and other graphics, possibly a stopwatch app.
Here is the conunundrum - I don't want all of these HDMI outputs to go to separate live monitors if possible (an earlier concept had the use of multiple little 8" screens or a quad view screen of some kind)...
Would NDI screen capture work if I were to use one of the 6-in, 2-out HDMI matrix switches to plug all of the inputs into, and then view the outputs on 2 monitors or a single PBP monitor?
Obviously, I would only be able to view a maximum of 2 of the 6 inputs at any one time.
If I were to use the matrix switcher and setup NDI screen capture on each input sequentially, would it remain active and still feed the NDI source onto the network even if the display was not currently showing on the monitor (once setup)?
Does this make sense?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
My audio is sent to studio montitor but the visuals aren't there. It just shows the NDI logo
What kind of internet do I need, if I want to use 10 laptops and bring everything to vMix ?
Too bad Screen Capture HX doesn't have webcam / mic inputs as well :(
Hello. I have an issue maybe you can help me with. I use 2 pc gaming set up. Before I turn on Ndi my latency is 7-15ms but when i enable Ndi the latency goes up to 200 plus ms. I'm running a NVidia 3080ti with a Ryzen 5800x. My streaming pc is a NVidia 980ti with a Ryzen 5700g. Also, when i run screen capture hx it hitches very bad so i went back to regular screen capture. Any solutions
Hey, i was using this to send a capture card signal to my streaming pc... there are 2 floor aways from each other thats why i have to do this but in the same netowrk (1Gbps)
The ndi stream quality i am receiving is quite low. The quality if ok, but the framerate.. very stuttery playback. Any idea why or fixed?

I've been experimenting with NDI Screen Capture for a while, but I just can't get it right. I have an Asus G14 and a Legion 5, both with NDI Tools installed, but for some reason, I can't get the screen on my G14 to be read by OBS on the Legion 5. My guess is that it has something to do with the processor, but honestly, I have no idea how to fix it. It works perfectly the other way around.
Same here, I can't capture the Screen of other PCs using OBS. I hope we can have a solution for this problem. Even Webcams as well I can't capture other webcams in the network.
Great job. I want to know if the screen capture has the ability to capture extended screen as it is in ndi scan converter(scan converter youcan select the screen to capture) because most time I Will want to capture my scripture presentation that is extended to the main auditorium into obs while streaming the main service. Yes, it can be set to capture an extended screen. You will find this option in the system tray by right clicking the icon.
@@StreamGeeks Last week I was trying to do this and I could not find it. When you right click where can it be found. I was using HX if that is an issue with the extended screen? Thank you for the help and for these videos.
please help me solve this problem. The NDI Source name shows but no display is shown, i mean from the other PC. The PCs name shows but i can''t see the screen capture in OBS

Is it possible to have 2 USB webcam on one laptop, making one NDI stream for each camera.
Yes, you can use the dedicated NDI outputs of OBS. Just bring both cameras in OBS and then use the NDI output filter on each.
hi a great job it's awe some software. i'm using ndi screen capture with obs and when i'm streaming then my stream freeze some times can you help me
Is your computer using Wifi instead of a dedicated Ethernet connection that may be why
@@StreamGeeks hi, both are connected by a cable to the same router first i did think the scream pc was going in sleep mode so i did change that. It might be also obs maybe or not? My webcam and my UA-cam stream freeze and after not long time the stream and webcam are playing as Nothing happens

J'ai 2 caméscopes que je sollicite utiliser comme webcam. Mais à chaque fois, je n'ai la possibilité de faire entrer une seule source sur NDI WEBCAM 1, et quand je veux inserer la deuxième caméscope sur NDI WEBCAM 2, c'est la caméra une qui est toujours disponible.
