Songbird and missiles, classic. I hade a similar build but with bipeds, spear and zimmer. Quickboosting aside. One thing that all gens had in common were the tank controlers, in gen 6 that really changes everything, specially rotation speed. Still AC6 has the best feel of movement when it comes to tank legs, and if combines with the rotation speed of older gens it may bring the best way to play an AC game in my humble opinion.
AC1 Tank were truthy slow, but at same time true mass destruction and surviving machines, still remember CHAINed build what we're made in every AC1 gen game by me because chaingun doing BrBrBrBrBrBrBr!
Yeah gen 1 tanks lacked mobility very heavily, but at the same time they didn't need it. Plus if they did have it in that gen they probably would be overpowered with that level of bulk and firepower.
Never really been a tank guy myself but might give it a shot in the old gen games if I go back to them. Also, a small tip for your arms on your AC6 tank. Give C3 a shot, it's essentially a better Alba for heavier frames for the trade off of 5 less firearm spec. (PS: Thanks for the AC6 tank build, I will use it from time to time)
Well that AC6 build was made specifically for S ranking Ibis so I have no clue how well it does in other missions. So just keep that in mind if you are going to try using it.
imo, the best tank legs are 5th gen and 6th gen. i really like how the tank legs on ACVD and 6. tank legs feels painful for me in Silent Line, 3, Nine Breakers, and Last Raven and i have never used tank legs in For Answer
I can agree with that sense gen 5 tank legs feel almost game breaking during solo play at times when used right. And gen 6 I just really love how they feel because they actually feel like you are on treads. Gen 3 tank legs are really good but hard to use if you want to go fast. And AC4A they are really strong (At least the heavy is which I didn't use in this video.) because they will always have enough firepower to deal with enemy NEXTs fast.
@@SomeNamelessNobody i beat N-WGIX many times with a tank legs and i created a super duper strong tnk leg UNAC. for ACFA, i always had the impression that its better to be faster than being slow
@@Sam_Aconitum I really need to make my own UNAC for Verdict Day. As for AC4A that might be true for multiplayer. But for singleplayer you can build a decently fast heavy tank that can S rank all missions. Plus I just find tanks to be reliable for the single player is why I like them so much.
Doesn't really surprise me with how long they take to stagger. Unless it's a different reason because I never played pvp but that is my only guess as to why they would be strong there.
how tanks changed so little? LMFAO, i don't know how someone can be so wrong and express it with such confidence that they release a 30 minute video about it and more importantly how a group of equally ignorant people will propagate said lie

I kneel, treadgods....
-Reaper Sqn: You need my help
-Daka tank: *Rip and tear blaring in the background* you said something? I was busy pulling the legs off this Tetrapod

Knowing how stiff the controls were on the early gen games, the smooth movement and energy management in this vid is insane

That MoA level is so good. FromSoft have... Ugh. They've always been Masters of Atmosphere.
I like V esthetics but man the variable on map is better in gen 3 below since the Tank can sink
fire stream my guy

@@SomeNamelessNobody ohhhhh. I guess most of those people who told me that are PvP players
@@Sam_Aconitum Maybe but some people do find it easier to avoid damage in faster NEXTs and that can help with an S rank.
Tanks in AC6 PvP dominate most builds right now. Tanks are better than ever.

TANK UP OR TANK HOME
Gen 1 tank ac and long corridor is not good combination
