Those glowing eyes outside the bedroom window and subsequent jump cuts to Margot Kidder's fear-filled face in TAH still send a solid shiver up the spine.😱 TB represents David Cronenberg on prime body horror form for me and a wonderfully cold oddity. Powerful performances from Samantha Eggar and Oliver Reed, too. I must confess, DOTD is far from faultless but will always be an absolute zombie masterpiece. In the words of the late Chas Balun, "A flawed but marvellous film. Don't miss it.".👍
I've never watched Amityville Horror. My grandfather talked to me about it once and he told me one scene in the movie made him feel sick which involved an axe. 🪓
