Yo great review guys…..This album was a great project and for me who loves bars The Truth is vintage Nas where he goes back to Lost Tapes It Was Written. The 2nd verse on The Truth is probably Nas best verse in about 10-15 yrs. It’s incredible how he is still a master lyricist after all this time.

This album solidifies Nas as the greatest of all time and it's not even a contest anymore. For sure he's had his slumps but when he releases good albums, they are REALLY good. And tbh his so-called bad albums i.e Nastradamus and Nasir are better than 95% of the shit that's been released in the history of hip hop music.

It talks about how he switched time zones but could still fly home with his eyes closed.. if you go deeper into thought, a song off the blue slide park album called One last thing which is the last track closes out the album with him singing “I wanna go back home” it’s deeply emotional to dive into
