  • Watch as I build a beautiful live edge wood clock. I use a Indian rosewood bow tie key to stabilize the crack that was in the slab. I finish the clock in a lacquer finish.

I found a gorgeous chopping block made out of real wood. It is one inch deep. What clock shaft size do I get?

Hello! I tried doing a project like this on my own- epic fail! I have very sentimental wood pieces in my yard though..... Can you help me? Did you have to dry the slabs before doing anything and if so how do you dry wood when you aren't a woodworker with a kiln etc.?

Thanks for the vid! Have you ever made one and left the bark on ?

Your welcome! Thanks for stopping by watching. That was my intentions with this one except the bark feel off immediately. 😔

Shoot! I am looking to create the same thing and had hoped the bark would hold

If you want the bark to stay on the wood you need to cut a fresh tree in winter that’s when transpiration is not happening throughout the tree

Hi great video, did you dry the slab first or just coat it? 👌

This time I will do it manually with the help of Woodprix designs.
