Hi,Legato is currently not available
Great choices!
I looking for a replacement for the Truthears Hola which are my favorite daily beater. It's starting show wear, a few nicks and loose connector. Sadly, they were phased out.
Can you recommend a similar warm no fatigue $15-30 set? Preferably with 78 pin connectors.
Thanks!
Im not too sure if the 7hz zero2 is on sale or not but that will suit you quite well!
EPZ Q1 Pro?
Thanks 🙏
CCA PLA13. Better than many budget dynamic drivers
One of the only few reviewers who would gladly recommend the Legato!
...Yup, it's been my daily driver ever since i got mine 😁
Love my legato. Got it because I wanted something dirty, something different compared to my other stuff. Can't believe I love it this much. I use it daily. It's a lot to watch videos with but foam tips help the put puts and bup bups. Lot of fun for a lot of the music I listen too.
@@chancemackey7100 For me. it's actually kind of "addicting"; hehehe... Every time i use another IEM, it's like there's something missing, there's something that's not hitting it for me. For the most part, mine is almost always paired with Acoustune's AET06 double-flange.
And i'm also considering buying another set of Legato, just to make sure i have a back-up just in case something happens to the one i have now. Because it would also most likely be that they(or any other IEM brand for that matter) will no longer be doing another set with this very specific niche tuning.
The Legato is more of nostalgia for me.
I'm a bit of an "old fart"; hehehe... and was able to catch the tail-end of the "Golden Age" of stereo box speakers. My dad himself was an audio enthusiast too, and d.i.y.'ed a 4-speaker turntable and transistor set-up for our home; and man! Those set-ups aren't compact in any way.
The sound of the Legato just takes me back closest to the stereo box speaker sound of those days. Unfortunately, most young-ones today never got to experience the stereo box speaker sound, so when the Legato first came out, many of them where scratching their hands and asking why the hell would anyone think this is a good sound signature for an IEM. This is definitely niche tuning and is not everyone's "cup of tea".
...by the way, if you want the backstory on the tuning of the Legato, here:

Hey, I'm about 35+km away from the Table Mountain, Cape Town, you should have said hey man I'm close by, I would have hosted you 😊😊
Thank for the offer! Capetown was lovely and is one of my favorite places in the world.
I had a great time visiting Hermanus!
Please tell us what amp setup you use for legato.
If you don't mind, just would like to share mine, just to add to the mix. Might be able to help you get an idea.
And oh, please feel free to take what i say "with a grain of salt".
i pair my Legato with a Topping DX1 DAC-Amp. If you're just getting started(or if you're not one of those "hardcore" "this hobby is life and death to me" type of audio enthusiast, a.k.a. "audiophile".) and also have a bit of extra in your budget, the DX1 would be a good start. It'll be worth it. Pretty basic, not a lot of "bells and whistles" and fancy new-tech stuff, but still does the job quite well. This is the OG, but still can hold its own and compete with DAC-Amps of the same price bracket today. Definite bang for the buck. For me, the DX1 suffices already, so i'm not looking to upgrade anytime soon. Never left me feeling like i'm missing out on anything.
I also prefer to put it on "High Gain", as per my ears' perception, it opens the Legato up more; more depth and boom to the bass, better sound quality overall vs the "Low Gain" setting. But this is just for the Legato though. For IEMs that don't scale well, just put it on "Low Gain".
But then again, that's just me. Try asking for feedback from others regarding the Legato on how it sounds in both settings, just so you can get a better idea.
And i also prefer to use the Acoustune AET06 Double-Flange eartips- as it really sends the bass more deeply into your ears, good clarity, and very good isolation(don't compare this with Spinfit's "TwinBlade" double-flange tips as they don't compare at all. Basically, the AET06 succeeded in doing where the TwinBlade failed to do).
Other tips that i would also pair with my Legato(whenever i feel like going light and easy on the bass every now and then):
Radius DeepMount Clear-if you want a bit more treble and air and clarity, but still get that rumble and thump.
If you want to get a bit more of the mids, treble, and/or air:
Spinfit CP100+ and Dunu S&S tips(as per Dunu's recommendation: go one size smaller than you're usual eartip size).
But you will be losing out on some of the bass with these though.
Hope this helps.
I use mine with ifi zen and a lot of times with my phone and don't notice much difference with any setting. You don't need anything crazy for it to sound good.
Hifigo has awful CS, had an issue with my Legato and they wanted me to take a video of the problem before they honor the warranty, what a joke.
Shenzhen does that too
Shill :))
