The unfinished building at the begining of the video was a project of one Serbian athlete and he had a guy who told him to just build without a license and he'll get it for him in a couple of months, lo and behold he didn't and the Sport center wasn't finished after 20ish years if i remember correctly.
Take a look of Konjarnik, over night as well too, grobari Young Erotica, also take a look of reccords alot of shooting over daylight or stabing as well, famouse blue bridge and hoes too, junkies and rly danger hood, graffity there never have fall by fans of cz, actually they havent had balls for it ;) but reasrch it well mate take a good look abt :))

Before all the shopping centers were built we used to go to Piramida and never had trouble in this area

I am from Belgrade and i sat one time at the bench very close to where you were at half of the video. I sat there with my bike for hours and thought to myself "if i ever start a family, this is a good place" 😆
I also grew in that area and whole New Belgrade have gangs and danger, but they mostly attack each other, not random people like in Latin America for an example.
When i was 10, i hanged with some random older hooligans few times and the leader got stabbed to death in a public transport soon after. He was 16. You might get mugged in the evening if you are alone, that is the worst case scenario, but some even like to act tough in front of their squad so they pick you to 1v1 them in a fist fight and if you dont, you wish you did. This is not a safe place that some like to propagate, but most people actually have some traces of morality. However, you should be more afraid of the police, they are a mafia here, all the drugs come from them and if you pay enough, anything can be solved, like my friend who got killed on a bridge by a celebrity who was texting and speeding late at night. My friend was pushing his dead car across the bridge and got rear ended. He died in the hospital at age of 21. His name is Luka Jovanović and he got hit on the Brankov most (bridge). The woman who was driving the car was a wife of a guy who was in the NBA and she payed her way out. You can visit Serbia for fun, but dont come to live here, i strongly discourage it.
That´s the difference my man, you grew up there. Just like I feel safe in the hood I grew up in in the mid 80´s and 90´s, but I also know if you´re not from the hood you gonna get looked at and observed, especially if you try and enter any of buildings where something may be going on in there. Nobody gonna say a word if you just chill in the park or walk through but once you start being curious and poke your nose where you shouldn´t you gonna get checked.

There is no dangerous hoods in ex Yugoslavia cities , Balkan cities are among safties in rhe world
As I've heard , in the place of those abandoned buildings should have been some kind of aquapark. But never happened :) p.s. No dangerous places in Belgrade if you act normal . Cheers!

the biggest problem in that area can be the police who control you unnecessarily, because you wear a hood, because they think you are a dealer.

this is not the hood! There is no crime here!
Part of Karaburma, last bus station, is the only real dark hood in whole city of Belgrade. There are some more dangerous and violent parts of city then other ones, but this one is the only one that is really dark and dangerous.
maybe if you are from opposite football gang, if you are regular dude, there is no problem for you
There are no really extremely dangerous places in Belgrade or Serbia altogether(At least nothing compared to Skid Row in LA and similar dangerous neighborhoods around the world). There is a part of Karaburma that can be considered a bit dangerous, but usually nothing happens if you are not out there looking for trouble. The worst thing that can happen to you as an innocent passer by is being mugged, but these are exceptions that don't really happen often.
Football is a big thing here though, so you can get it trouble for donning the wrong colours and symbols in certain places. There are criminal gangs(as the kid said), as anywhere else in the world, of course, but they usually pose the threat only to their rivals and those who get involved with them in some way.
Of course, wherever you go in the world, be careful, but you don't have to be in constant guard here unless you go with the intention of provoking locals. Be safe m8.

If you are trouble maker you will find trouble anywhere so don't be dramatic there is no reason to feel unsafe anywhere in Belgrade if you are normal person.
There are no dangerous hoods or areas as you will find in Western Europe, North or South America. The most dangerous are soccer hooligans specially United Force! Btw Lav je Tzar!
