- Shiny Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire is a MUST DO hunt as a full odds hunter. Since I waited such a long time hunting Mudkip, this video is getting released today, even though Treecko was found a loong time ago. I was just wondering
Is shiny hunting a starter in ruby and sapphire only require soft reset? Or is it like in emerald where the RNG is fixed for every save file?
Ruby and Sapphire is the way to go for regular soft resets. Emerald is possible as well but works different due to the broken RNG

I recently replayed sapphire, was playing normally, got to seafloor cavern right before kyogre accidentally ran away from a random shiny zubat. Luckily I got photos before I ended the encounter lol
